Congrats and welcome, Nathan!

Definitely address the possibility of the steering lock failing. The easiest way to fix it, is to pull the fuse. Check out these threads -

Also, I see you live in the South, so you will probably want to invest in an oil cooler. Z1 and Stillen are your best bets.
