New member new owner in NC
 
Hi there I've never joined a forum and never had a z so first time for everything .start from beginning I've been a fan of zs my brother had a 280 like the fact rear wheel drive when I started driving fast and furious was big I got first car was a Mitsubishi Eclipse 2g (I was the buster ) . Went through a couple eclipses and other stuff got a 2004 Mazda rx8 for awhile back in rwd world amazing . Went through some stuff drifted from cars went to trucks lifted dodge ram with hemi then lifted dodge cummins beast mode activated .. big truck big problems got away from that now back to the imports. Got a 2009 nissan 370z with sports package don't know much about the car so anyone have anything I need to know or problems I can prevent That be great and I don't have owners manual :( well guess that's it for now . My name is Nathan .

Seen the pic is there a track close to you or close by I've never tracked before would like to after some more mods ( better tires,sways,oil cooler, ......????

Virginia International Raceway is only an hour drive from the Raleigh/Durham area.

Definitely address the possibility of the steering lock failing. The easiest way to fix it, is to pull the fuse. Check out these threads -

Also, I see you live in the South, so you will probably want to invest in an oil cooler. Z1 and Stillen are your best bets.

Welcome. I'm in Wake Forest. I just joined a few weeks ago myself. Bought my Z about 6 weeks ago. I still haven't posted pics but will soon.

Tha ms for that yes I started looking for oil coolers and I'm going do the rjm clutch pedal mod first then oil cooler thanks for heads up on the steering lock . Will be pulling fuse today now. And ordering a magnetic oil drain bolt and filter mag. Doing oil change as ..the administrator sorry haven't remembered his name but a phenomenal write up he did.
