What are these pieces for? Something for the cars across the pond?

Not here in the US. I don't know what those are...I thought they were something for the European versions.

Being from England originally let me tell you what they are. The nubs on the bumper are headlight washers, they pop out and a powerful water streams covers the lenses. The circle on the headlight, unsure I beleive they are white reflectors.

PS their cars also have auto fold in mirrors. Also, for those interested head over to Nissan.co.uk, they have three versions, check out the 0-60 specs

To the original poster, welcome.

The one under the headlight is a head light washer.

The other I have no idea about.

Welcome to the forum. I've been here two years now and learned a lot and met great people.

As for the head light washer, US spec has something similar. It is called bare hands.
