Default Almost got the FRS...Bought a Z instead

Back in September when they seemed difficult to find, I did the paperwork on a FRS. It was an auto in silver. I called my brother who sells Toyota's in another state. His view was the FRS was weak on power, even more so on the automatic. I never took delivery.
I have lusted after this Z car ever since 09, but rarely saw them on dealer lots.
Anyway, I found a base sport 6m and have owned it since September.
Very pleased with the Z, it looks great and drives better than any car I owned.
great power and handling.

I have used this site since the purchase, it is very well done.
Thank you for the information.

FRS's are going for $26k. For the exact same price you can get the 370z with 132 more horsepower. Not to mention its bigger, and more luxurious.

Its a no brainer! Glad you made the right decision. Welcome to the370z!

fr-s & brz are great bang for your buck sports car and actually one of the better looking cars on the road but the z is really the best bang for the buck if your looking for a true sports car. Congrats and welcome to this great forum

Yup, I test drove an FRS as soon as it came in but had no more power than my Honda coupe and I was just let down. I knew the Z was for me!! Its just so much more sexy and more powerful!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome

I have always liked smaller nimble cars, most being 2 seaters. But I really dodged a bullet and glad I walked away from the FRS. Because this Z makes me want to drive harder. It's a blast.
