New Z Owner in San Jose

Well, kind of...I leased, but I still have a 2012 Z Touring, manual transmission and with Sports/Nav packages for the next 3 years, and perhaps longer. That'll depend on other things (like, getting married and having kids and all that), so I don't want to worry about that for now.

Anyway, I've always loved the Z, and after driving 3 Mitsubishi Eclipses since 1997, what a nice change. I'm not a track driver or big enthusiast like many of you are, but I'm loving these forums and reading the stories and everything you guys have to say about the car. Let's hope I'm not one of those cursed 2012 owners I keep reading about

I went to three different dealerships, finally finding what I wanted, and in Gun Metallic, which I didn't think I'd ever find. With the 2013's on the way, it was slim pickings, until this was found in the back of a huge spare lot at Nissan Sunnyvale:

If you guys have any tips or little things that are good to know, would love to see em! It was painful figuring out the Homelink garage door stuff, primarily because the dealership didn't disable the extended storage switch. I went crazy trying to figure it out....but thanks to these forums, it's done. I was thinking, "I'm a coder in the Silicon Valley, and I can't figure out how to program a garage door opener." GTFO
