Talking Broke the Needle Off...

Broke the needle off the FUN gauge today...

I posted last week that I bought one, well I did, but had to wait a week to pick her up from Denver. I live near Billings Montana so its an 8 hr drive one way.

Me and a buddy left Billings at 3:30am and we were in Denver at Arapahoe Nissan at noon. I had seen allot of pictures of the car, and had seen a couple driving around town, but when that salesman drove my car around the corner I about Sh*t a brick! I COULD NOT BELIEVE how awesome the car is.

Took a test drive loop from the dealership on the highway and noticed an ever-so slight vibration in the steering wheel, asked the salesman to hold the wheel and he also confirmed the vibration - not a huge shaking vibration but noticeable. Got back to the dealership and I was on CLOUD NINE! I could not believe how awesome these cars are.

Took like a century of time to do the paperwork, at the same time the Nissan mechanic took all 4 wheels off and checked them, he found a very minor ding in one of the front wheels and started to say it could easily be fixed, and immediately went to the manager and said they were not "fixing" any wheels on this new car, I wanted a new replacement wheel, turns out the mechanic said there was something not perfect with either front wheel, so, long story short, the manager agreeed to ship 2 brand new wheels to my house in Montana free of charge.

Got back to Billings about midnight last night and the fun-O-meter was stuck in the pegged out position, today the whole needle just fell-the-fork-OFF!

Wholly crap this thing goes! Unbelievable.

Here's me just leaving the dealership with a TOTAL new car woody...

2010 370Z Base, Manual 6sp, 3K miles.

Here's the GT-R on the show room I did not buy...

This morning I did the GT-R start button swap-out and took my neighbor for a ride (he's a Sheriff, hehe), also let him drive.

That's when the FUN needle just fell off. WOW! I am jacked up...

Here's a couple of more pics of the car...

THANKS so much for all of your posts and great DIYs from this forum!

Many more mods planned... Radar hard wire, Tint windows, CAI, Motordyne Ex., Swift spec-R, H&R Spacers, Blackout fangs, etc...

Talk to you later.

John - Montana
