If Im correct you can splice the wire into another wire (i.e the ignition or the running lights) that way instead of having the camera on only when in reverse

If Im correct you can splice the wire into another wire (i.e the ignition or the running lights) that way instead of having the camera on only when in reverse it would turn on when you start the car, or when your lights are running.
Then again im not 100% sure, and I could be wrong, maybe someone with more experience/knowledge can chime in. But Welcome and Congrats on the Nismo!
