Setting pick up Date!

Gentlemen,
Let me first say how excited I am to be on the370.com with you guys. For the past 5 years I was in automotive detention, stuck driving a Ford Taurus since my 2004 Mustang GT (with straight pipes, wonderfully loud) was totaled by a drunk driver. Since then I spent time going back to school and will attend St. John's University School of Law this Fall (any advice?). Now, after all this time I'm happy to say I just bought a 2009 Solid Red 370z from NJ. I just need to find a day off where I can bring her home. She's 150 miles away in NJ, should be a fun ride. Looking forward to all the cool info and stories around the corner, I've learned so much already

congrats on the buy. curious, as i'm on long island also. how come u got it through a NJ dealership?

I couldn't find the Z exactly the way I wanted. I wanted solid red base model with the sports pack. The dealers out here especially Atlantic Nissan (which was so horrible I almost didn't want the Z anymore) couldn't do shiznit for me. So after looking online and viewing inventories I found what I was looking for at Flemington Nissan. More importantly they were willing to bargain and in the end I got a deal I was happy with and excellent service too!

interesting. i realized yesterday, the online inventories arent always right. i went out to the smithtown nissan, and they had 10 Z's on the lot, and their website only shows 5. I tried to go to the nissan of queens today cause they have the PG with persimmon that i want to see, but after 4 phone calls, got no call back, even after talking to a salesman..

I'm hopefully going to give habberstad nissan my business after all is said and done, they've given me a decent price, and always return calls.

St Johns is a good school too. I know someone that graduated undergrad and masters from there.
