This situation is obviously as important as you feel it is, but you should get what you paid for or pay the correct price for what you got. It's not even about the $3,000. It's about the principle and the trust a consumer should expect from a dealership. Again, even if you are not stressing the money at the very least you can save someone else from going through the same thing if they buy from him.

After all, I think that what they have done is illegal and you do have documentation (evidence). I'd try to be nice about it (at first) to give them an opportunity to acknowledge their mistake and fix the problem and be clear to them what you preference is (ie new car or refund).

Hopefully you won't have to escalate things to the manager, nissan corporate, or legal avenues. I would also recommend that you go to the Nissan website to see exactly what is in the Sport package so you can point those items out to them. Good luck.
