But i say, "go to the deal, not a dealership." So whoever hooks you up with the car you want is the dealership for you. Not like we will ever talk to those guys again.

I was told that they don't allow test drives unless you're "pretty much ready to buy." The sales guy actually took off for a while when we were in his office to go help another customer. I asked about leasing options and they told me how I could get one for $600/mo, the "top-of-the-line model, the one for $29,500." I wanted to sit down and crunch some numbers so I could estimate a payment and they refused.

Things to keep in mind.. I'm 27, decently dressed, clean shaven, and I don't wear a backwards hat everywhere I go. We showed up in my GF's '07 G35 Coupe. I walked in pre-approved for a $50k loan and told them that.

I went to Grubbs and they let me test drive a PW T/S/N 6MT right off the bat. The sales guy got with financing guy and they were able to print me out something that showed me what I'd be looking at with 3 different down payments as well as some different APRs. I found out as I was leaving that they actually stayed 30-45mins after closing to help me with all of this.

Both dealerships were told that I was ready to buy in roughly 30 days (not same day) and I was pre-approved for the loan.
