Default 2016 370z - bunch of questions! Help!

I have so many newbie questions, and I'm sure some of the info is out there on the forum, but here is my quick list, maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Car is manual with the new sport wheel design.

(1) The driver's window isn't always cracked down when the door is open! I have closed the door three times now where the window slammed into the trim above the door. Is this normal on the 370z? It seems to happen when I sit in the car after parking, then open the door, wait a bit, then try to close it. Any ideas?

(2) The power curve is weird from 1k-2.5k rpm. I noticed this when driving some new 370z on test drives too - there is an odd drop in the power as you cross 2-2.5k, then it picks way up as you go past 3k and into smooth power from there on up. It feels almost like a brief loss of power. What is going on here?

(3) Slave cylinder failure. I have seen now on several websites that the slave cylinder fails on the 370z. Do I need to worry about this? What is the story with this, it seems weird Nissan wouldn't recall it?

(4) Steering Ignitiion interlock failure. Following the thread on here, it sounds like EVERY 370z will eventually have an interlock failure? Even a 2016?

Thanks!

All these have been discussed on here. I don't like the site's search so I use DuckDuckGo (it will work with all the major search engines) and add "site:the370z.com" to my search string.

Off the top of my head:
1) Maybe the door-is-closed switch needs to be adjusted/replaced. I'd give the window reset procedure a shot - doesn't sound like the problem but it's super easy to do.
2) Could be a lot of things.
3) IIRC, the CSC is still a problem.
4) ESCL was discontinued back in 2010 or 2011 YM. Not present on 2016s.

SouthArk posted some good info. Here are my thoughts

1. Reset window. Search.
2. Sounds like throttle lag. Get a tune.
3. Expect CSC failure. Replace asap. Not with OEM
4. No ESCL on your MY.

Thanks, this is very useful. I'll research the window and CSC. I have to convince my SO that it is ok to replace a perfectly good slave cylinder...

Unless you will be tracking the car or driving in deserted areas without cell service, I'd wait until the CSC fails before replacing. Just be aware that there is a decent chance it will eventually fail and have the funds for replacement set back. YMMV

Not at all. You have to worry about the CSC on the test drive. Members have had failures with 1k miles on it.

Double check your bogging issue with VDC off.
58k miles on my csc, no issues. Still expecting it before 100k
You didn't mention differential bushing leak. Mine leaked around 50k

I like to say it's not a matter of IF your CSC fails, but a matter of WHEN
