So the 370Z's are starting to hit the lots around the country. A thread of this kind can help others figure out who and where to buy from, and help weed out shady dealers.

I just copied and pasted shizzawha's car, I got the same exact one. Not as good a deal though.
Model: Touring Color: Black/Black Transmission: 6 manual Options: Sport w/ nav, mats, illuminated kick plates Price: $40,415.35 (sticker) But I had a trade in and they did pretty well on it. Probably $750 off of sticker in reality. |
Buena Park Nissan - California
Marking up $10K over sticker!!, they have a fully loaded white touring with nav for $53K !!! :ugh2: I asked the guy if I could get some of that stuff they were smoking. He said it was a market adjustment price, I said that they should be adjusting down then, do you even watch the news!! |
Sorry guys... trying to keep as little clutter as possible in this thread. Thanks.
|
How about finance rates? maybe we should post those, I'm curious if anyone on here got low financing through Nissan. Like 0.9%-3.9% I know they are doing stuff for the 08's and some 09 models, but there is nothing on their site for the 370z.
Are we out of luck because the 370z is too new? I know credit score has a lot to do with this, but lets start with best case, good to excellent credit. |

My Accord was paid off, so it's going to suck having a payment again. |
Should the OP clarify what should be included in the price? Like including destination but excluding tax, doc fees, registration fee and other junk they try to tag on so that its more meaningful? Thanks.
|
If you feel it is necessary to add additional information as to what was included in the price, please feel free to do so.

I am relatively new to the Nissan world, so please excuse my ignorance here. How long did Nissan wait for the 350s before they started giving good rates to qualified folks? I can buy now, but if I know I can wait 2 or 3 months and save a couple percentages I will.

Picked up my 370Z last night
370Z Touring Platinum Graphite/ Persimon Sport Package Navi Package $40K Dealer had it marked up $5K over msrp, I negotiated for over 2hours slowly got them to come down to msrp, they wouldn't budge any more, was the right color and all the packages I wanted, so I had to do it. :driving: Braden |

Has anyone leased there's yet? If so, how much are you paying monthly?
|
The price seem steep. Or is it people who bought the 370z so far just love the car too much that they didn't want to haggle or walk away? I think you guys could've done better?
+1 for putting together a community of Z enthusiasts! |

I'm refusing to pay over 30K for the 370z. Had an interesting conversation with the owner of the 4 local dealerships in the area tonight and his sales leader minion. Printed out the sales ad where Carmax in MD is selling the touring model with sport package for 34k at 500 under invoice and the sales leader basically told me that he couldnt even entertain an offer that low on a brand new model. He gave lots of excuses--something about how Nissan is in cahoots with Carmax, etc.. I wished him good luck selling the 12 leftover 350's on his lot and laughed all the way to the parking lot knowing that they're asking about 8 thousand over invoice on their sole 370.
WoW. Buyers market is the dealership's worst nightmare. Those guys are rediculous |
Well, it's been only 5 days since the car went on sale and only few dealers in the US have the 370Z. My local dealers aren't even bringing the new Z until March/April because they want to sell their 350Zs. Things will slowly go into your favor but right now, dealer can do/say whatever they want because everybody is excited to see the car. They want to test drive it, feel for it, take pictures etc. Someone told me that they had over 8 test drives in one day on a single 370Z. So, also be careful buying demo 370Zs. Give it a few weeks and things will get better.

They could of got it from another dealer, but I don't want miles on it. I could of went for $400 more & had it flatbeded, but lets just say I'm cheap :icon17: |
Model: Base
Color: White (a color i reaally wanted :icon17:) Transmission: 6MT Options: Sports Package (synchro rev baybe!) MSRP priced at $33740 got it at $32000 8.9% financing for my shitty tier 2 level credit! my broker had a lot to do with my low interest rates. (i know its not "low" but with my credit it was acceptable) the car is still the the traiiler on the way to los angeles california by friday. it will be clean and ready to drive by saturday! cant waiit |

but that is at Nissans crappy 7.5% rate. I talked to my credit union and I'm going to go through them at 5.25%, take a check to Nissan and pay them off, that should bring my payment to about $595 |

All I have at the moment are these crappy cell phone pics taken the day after I purchased it. it was early morning 6am and there is a lot of dew on the car, I plan on doing some better shots this weekend. :-) I just had the windows tinted today, so I'll get some new ones with that, 3M film, medium in front and dark in the back. |

At that point they were down to about $700 over MSRP and he asked whats it going to take to sell you the car. I responded with sell it at MSRP and you got a deal, if you come back with .01 cent over, I'm out of here. ;) So he came back and said lets do it. I've found that getting there just before the dealer closes can sometimes be advantages. One time when I was negotiating on an 03 GTI, they were just about $20 a month away from what I wanted, but wouldn't budge. So I grabbed the guys business card from his desk and wrote my cell number on the back of it. I told him heres my cell phone number, I'm leaving now and driving over to Long Beach VW, they have a black one there. If you decide to sell me this one, call my cell, but once I hit the freeway, I'm not coming back. I walked out, got in my car, got to about the first light, and my phone rang, guess who it was :rofl2: |
You got great negotiating skills, minicobra. I have stickied a thread in pricing section for other members to learn more about the dealer process and their games. If one isn't prepared to tackle the dealer, they WILL lose out on thousands of dollars or even pay $48,000 for a 370Z :shakes head:
Car looks great. Feel free to write a detailed review on the 370Z(or specific features) . Again, congratulations! |
