Just put a deposit on my 370Z. Could not find the specs I wanted at any dealers, but there is one on a ship from Japan to LA. My dealer is doing a a swap with another dealer who ordered the car originally. It should be at the dealer in Houston around Feb 20th.

Hey guys I just flew back a couple hours ago from my trip to Maryland. Yes I did get this Z for below factory... Total price for the z came to just below 35k, registration and fee's will be done when the car arrives in Ca. this carmax in maryland is joint with Nissan and they only recieved one 370z, which was the one I purchased and am shipping to California through a private shipper (not carmax freight). My sales counselor was telling me that when the GTR's came out they had around 6 only there lot, and were selling them for low 70's!!. But anyways everything went well, I was in and out in 30 minutes after a test drive and cant wait for the car to come in within a week or two!! Here are some pics!

but that is at Nissans crappy 7.5% rate. I talked to my credit union and I'm going to go through them at 5.25%, take a check to Nissan and pay them off, that should bring my payment to about $595

is that 72 or 84 mo?

capo190 01-21-2009 03:00 PM

Invoice for a base black AT 370z according to edmunds is like $29,300.

One dealership offered me it for $30,813.

Then I emailed a few other dealerships asking if they could beat that price.

The day after i emailed, a guy called me from a dealership promising that he would beat that price, but he wouldn't discuss the price over the phone.

And just a few hours ago another dealership offered one to me for $30,495.

Not too bad huh?

I think I'm just gunna go back to the guys who were selling it for 30813, tell them about the 30495 offer i got, and see if they will go lower. Because they already have the car in stock and I wouldn't have to wait....

You got Touring + Sport for under 35k? Good deal!
That is what I'm willing to pay and will wait until I can get that deal...

Is there a way to get rid of the carmax sign?

I haven't bought one yet...

All I know is at least three Los Angeles Area Nissan Dealers are offerring myself-
Actual Dealer Invoice on any 2009 370Z...

I am looking at the fully optioned one (2009 370Z Sport Touring Automatic) that MSRP's at $41,935.00 and all three dealers will sell it at $38,491.00 plus documentary fees, tax and license.

And I still haven't played HARD BALL yet- thing in my favor is- my Equifax FICO Score is 806- so no worries about getting a loan if I wanted to get a loan.

Chupacabra 01-27-2009 02:35 PM

Im starting to think that I got raped as well.

silver, sports package, mats, illuminated kick panels, lock nuts, manual

38k, out the door. (taxes and all included)

i know pay $500 a month, including the extended warranty (i am buying not leasing)
apr=7.34

oh dude i need to go kick some ***

G&M Performance 01-27-2009 02:47 PM

^^ ouch! That's pretty steep for a base with the goods. If you haven't driven it for more than 3 days, you should take it back and try to rework everything out. I know some dealers give you up to 3 days to "change your mind." HURRY!!!

Chupacabra 01-27-2009 02:50 PM

kinda late for that, its been over a week now. damn Florida and its high apr's, guess the buying of a house did not help that either.

G&M Performance 01-27-2009 02:58 PM

Ditto. They got me there. Lucky for me, I am capitalizing on the first time home buyer's tax credit. Anyway, 500 per month at 38k is not bad at all.

I've taken decals off of cars before with a hair dryer.

Sure, it's from Woodbury NJ dealership.
I'll give you a word of warning though. I'm having some problems with them now. Was supposed to pick up the car today, which they were going to do a dealer-trade on with a neighboring dealer. Well they called me up today and there's some f....up, and the other dealer doesn't want to trade the car anymore. They're trying to work it out for me, but let me tell you, I am not happy, considering that by now I was supposed to have the car, and now I'm not sure when and if I'll get it.

Having said that, manager there is named Jeff, give him a call, tell him Alex (who is still trying to finalize his 370 deal) recommended them to you.

Gabriel77 02-11-2009 08:10 PM

Gabriel77 02-12-2009 10:40 PM

Picked up the car tonight. Wow. I'm really happy with the Platinum Graphite color and waiting for the touring trim was worth it.

No surprises at the dealership, just had to tell them a few times that I wasn't interested in the extra warranties, protection plans, more insurance and all of that stuff.

For the first time, I can't wait to drive to work in the morning. Although I'll probably spend most of the day reading through the book and figuring out all the features that I wasn't paying attention to while the sales girl walked me through them before handing over the keys.

tvfreakazoid 02-13-2009 05:31 AM

Funny how they use a pretty sales girl LOL. So what is the int trim color and how much did you pay for it out the door (if you don't mind)?

This is the second Nissan I've bought involving a pretty sales girl.

The interior trim is black leather. I hadn't seen a touring interior in person until mine arrived but I am very happy with it. The suede inserts throughout the interior give it a nice look and add to the comfort.
Out the door total: $39102.76 I paid the taxes and tags out of pocket and financed the rest at 2.5% through my credit union.
