Mini- review: Just got my new Samsung Galaxy Note
This behemoth of a phablet has a massive 5.3" Amoled screen. The colors are very vibrant and the screen screams "look at me!!". This is coming from a long time apple fanboy. I've had every iteration of the iphone since the original and Im glad I made the switch. The UI is fairly user friendly once you get comfortable with the changes. I ordered myself a PLX kiwi bluetooth OBDII adapter and downloaded the torque pro app. It shows gauges such as boost, revs, and includes HP, 0-60 times and 1/4 miles times. I am blown away at technology these days. Now I dont have to install a boost gauge on my Sti!! Here are some pics of the size difference between the iphone and the note.

Good luck man. I preordered mine as was advised by the ATT rep. Apparently this phone is going to rival the iPhone release. We'll see though.

Ya I can't imagine the s3 having very good battery life. Its 4g, has an amoled screen and has a quad core processor with 2gb of ram. Those are some hefty stats for a cell phone.

atleast the galaxy s2 is, surprisingly battery lasts me a whole day with constant texting, internet browsing, calls, e-mails and catching up on my NBA mobile app. Oh and its wicked fast! Truly one of the best phones out today. |

I'm not entirely sure how much the other stuff will effect batter life (4g is a pig, though) but if the quad-core is anything like the Tegra 3 in my Transformer Prime it should actually help it. I'm no tech guru but it has to do with the core management, only bringing an additional core up when it's needed or running multiple cores at lower frequencies to keep energy consumption down.
