"Battle of the Bastards" and "Winds of Winter" were pretty incredible. When Jon was being trampled it was the most tense and claustrophobic moment I have ever felt when watching any type of show or movie.
I was hoping that Nymeria and her many packs of wolves would show up and save the day with Ghost, but the Knights of the Vale were pretty spectacular. That battle scene was about as good as it gets. Wun wun was the highlight. Oh, and then there were the dragons and the Masters...awesome! The Sept of Baelor sequence leading up to Tommen's final scene was brilliant as well. It looks like we have some very interesting reunion possibilities next season. Which characters are you looking forward to squaring off? |
