How did Tyrion know that Lancel was sleeping with Cersei? It seems like it will have some major implications with the plot, but the scene was kinda weird and rushed. Did he guess because Cersei is a slut and Lancel looks like Jaime, or did he have some inside information?

It was kind of a bluff on Tyrions's part. He suspected Lancel had a part in murdering King Robert after he was knighted. He played Lancel into admitting it

Eh not really. The books are structured just as Cmike has said. Each chapter in the book is titled by character (instead of it being Chapter 1 ,2,etc.) and it's the next set of events in their POV each time they swap characters. The show is mimicking this flow by each scene change is the next chapter of the book, if you will. So when they switch from Tyrion to Arya to Catelyn to Daenerys then back to Tyrion and so on.

Given they can take certain liberties with the show and jump around a bit but I think you get the idea.

After watching 5 episodes of this show, I could not get myself to watch more of it. I don't know how others can like this show but it just could not grab my attention.

Spartacus was much better.

Cmike I don't think Rob was ever a POV character in any of the books. BTW anyone heard anything about Winds of Winter?
