Hathaway I think can pull it off because remember the character is actually both good & evil. While in the catsuit she is sexy, evil, etc. but when just on the street she portrays that innocent, clueless girl.

Right. Innocent and clueless, she's got that sh*t down pat. Sexy? She can be. Don't know if I buy her being evil, but again, she could surprise me. She's very talented.

I really think the word evil is not what catwoman is though.
Catwoman is more about stealing and being sexy, not directly evil I would say. I will say though, there better be a good scene where she seduces Batman in her costume.

On the topic of Ledger's Joker, I think it was spot with what Nolan was creating. Remember that these films while using real stories as a basis are designed to create a 'realistic' Gotham city/world. The pasty white, bright color, jack nicholson character is not part of this world. What is though, is the scared, white make-up, psycho character we got. It showed a real Joker without all the comedy and jokes, and while it is part of what made the Joker great it work even better without in the Dark Knight.

Agreed. The joker in the Nolan's film was perfect, because we were made to believe it could happen in reality. When I think of comic book joker, I think more of a dark, twisted, psycho than than a "jokester." It's for that reason that villains such as clayface, man-bat, killer croc, (and probably mr freeze and poison ivy) wouldn't work.

You guys need to check out Bronson if you haven't yet. I have a feeling Tom Hardy can pull off playing a guy who can open up a can of whoop --- on Batman.

Never saw it. Obviously I saw Hardy in Inception (like most of us), and it's hard to transition him from that character to Bane.

Watch Bronson and compare that character to his performance in Inception. You'll be shocked. Hardy has some skills.

Oh no... this is where they always go wrong with Batman movies (besides a batmobile with pink neons)... they try to cram too many villains into one movie. That destroys proper character development and clutters the story.

They must have given up after Ledger died, knowing they'll never top his character.

I think that is definitely where they got it wrong with the last spider man.

Agreed. They had to cram so much in it felt like key events were left on the cutting room floor.

The reboot of Spiderman might be good but who knows.

Yeah, a reboot might be good, but doing it so soon is like saying "hey guys, sorry we ****** up the spider man franchise and don't know what we're doing"
