I did not think we were going to get to the compound that fast. I figured this episode would have focused entirely on the group during the trip and end with them pulling up to the front gate. The scene of them clearing out the compound was awesome, though I thought the Carol/Maggie moment outside was unnecessary. Why is Carol starting to go soft on us now of all times? She should have been in there stabbing faces.
One thing I thought while I was watching everything unfold was, "This place looks really small to be the Savior's entire base" and it seems pretty obvious by the end of the episode that this was just a.....satellite facility (cause of the satellite dishes :ugh2:). Can't wait to see how everything unfolds. |
Great episode this evening....Carroll is scary....Maggie goes physo..

I thought the episode started out a little boring, to be honest, but it really ramped up there in the last 15 minutes or so. We got more character development for Carol and Maggie, but not much else. Six seasons into the show I'm far less interested in character development and more concerned with moving the story along, which we didn't really do this episode.
It was interesting to see that Carol's scared housewife routine may not have been complete BS when Daryl asks her if she's OK at the end and she says "No". I'm just hoping she's not reverting back to season 1/2 Carol. Maggie was fine this episode. She's done messing around and wants to be able to have her baby and lead a 'normal' life. I was yelling at my TV when Maggie just stood around a watched Carol wrestle with the redhead around a dozen walkers instead of helping overpower her. |
I sure hope we don't get scared Carol again

The towns only doctor wants to go outside the wall with no training. We stated that this is a bad idea, but we're going to allow it to happen anyway. Thank God the bullet just grazed Eugene or they would have been digging two graves that day.
And now Carol is on the run again. Daryl (and possible others) are going to go out looking for her next episode, which is only going to lead to another run in with the Saviors by the end of the episode. Only this time it's not going to go so well for one of main characters. |

With that said....Does Glen die ? |
I'm betting....Negan, ties up Maggie....and a walker eats Glen's baby from her womb....while Glen watches in the final episode. I bet thats what going to happen......Its not Glen...Its Maggie and the baby....getting chowed on......

That's how Glen goes in the comics, but Abraham is the one that takes an arrow to the head, so we know to specific character deaths. |

Good for them keeping in Eugene's bite attack on Dwight :bowrofl: BTW, I might have missed this, but when did Daryl run into Dwight previously? Was he with the first group of Saviors they basically nuked, or was this a reference to the random gang he had run into a while back? Just wondering, because if its the former, was the implication that Daryl gave Dwight the burns and not

Also, is it just me, or are they working hard to make the Saviors seem a wee bit more sympathetic... Looking forward to seeing Lucile -- she's a vampire bat! :yum: |

Oh, hell... well that might be leading to an interesting confrontation soon... |
I am so happy this season will be over next week. This half season started out so good and now we're just bullshitting our way to the finish line.
You want to have a conversation? Do it behind the walls and not in the middle of nowhere. Every time they stop to talk they get caught. This should not be unexpected after the **** they've been through. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk |
