favorite drives around kc

This is a very short one, but if you're ever out south, this was my route home from high school back in the day https://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sou...&mra=ls&num=10

I'll be trying both of these here soon. Weathers plenty decent enough for me to ride.

That is exactly what I was thinking of! Definitely fun but you have to watch out for bicyclists. That is a popular route for them, too.

The 370Z is pure sex! It is hot, loud, and rough!

Let's see if this shows up. I should of added Hwy C ( Off I 435) to Hwy 92 to the start.

I've not driven that road with the Z yet, but I've done it many of times with the motorcycle. Matter of fact, one of my friends wrecked his motorcycle on that road on one of our rides and he is now paralyzed from the waste down. He now has competed for the United States in the Para Olympics for triathalons. Great guy. The last Olympics (last summer) was in New Zealand. He loved it there though he did have a great race.

I make several trips to Arkansas a year, so it is hard to get excited about the roads up here.......

I "discovered" that road some years ago on an SCCA Road Rally. Great roads with enough hills, blind hills, curves, blind curves, etc. to keep you interested.

One trip just after the 90 degree left I crested a hill and a couple was in the middle of the road walking their dog.

FYI, Some years back I picked up a Missouri highway map at the Missouri visitors center at Royals stadium. It shoes a lot of county roads where, in my experience, more fun can be found.

Well drove the Hwy H to Hwy O....I must say O was a lot better than H hwy. Tons of turns elevation changes ..... It's about 11 miles long and worth a drive. You should be able to hit every corner around 60mph+ . It has probably 10 25mph turns and about 7 or 8 30mph turns.

Going to try out some more next weekend if the weather is good.

Oh by the way DON'T take Z hwy at the end of O hwy in Orrick. It dead ends and the pavement ends to a gravel road. Plus Z hwy is a real rough road....

Rode the Highway H to O route today. Having a co-pilot next to you to call the turns certainly helps when you're approaching a blind turn just over the hill. Props to my wife for doing a great job calling route info.

We took it slow and had a 24:39 time. Unfortunately, there are a few areas that will easily put you behind traffic, and a few others where it just doesn't feel "safe" to speed through. However I didn't stop the clock for those areas. I could definitely see shaving off some time the next time I run it. Lots of fun, excellent route suggestion.

Did you run just the H hwy? Or did you hit both? I know H was full of traffic the day I drove and O hwy had 1 car at hwy 10 and after that it was pedal to floor.

I ran both around 2pm today. Time was from a complete stop. The last leg of H after it goes through town, I was stuck behind about 8 cars, and ended up overshooting O. Hwy O had a dump truck on it, and he managed to be in a spot where I couldn't pass. (I don't cross double lines.)
