I am seeing that COntinental DWs are comparable to the PSSs but cheaper. I do love the stickiness of the PSS. I have zero complaints. And after 3 auto-x events they are down to 7/32 (original tread depth is 10/32).
After a full summer though I'll be screwed-another 1000 bucks. Crap.

Ya it looks like tires will be a two summer at a time thing. I usually do Mid-Ohio spring and fall and am debating if I should get into that Auto-x too. Could be a tire killer. We will see.
