Looks like sunday will be another nice day !
|
Hi everyone, I am new to the Z forum ('13 Magma Base 7at).
How late into the season does this meet go on till? Ryan |
With the weather getting this cold this early could be sooner than normal. Most of us don't drive in the salt/snow, so as soon as that becomes a possibility most people go into hibernation.
That being said I know some people continue to meet up in their winter beaters just to hang out. |

We push them until end of October depending on weather. |

And yes we do in the beaters lol |
Thanks for the info.
I'm hoping to make it this Sunday. Looking forward to meeting local members here. |

I want to make it to another event. I'm on a record of one a year right now, my weekends just get so damn busy in the summer especially with my girlfriend temporarily relocated to Terre Haute for work.
This Sunday I'll be waking up on the other end of a friends bachelor party, so I don't know if I'll have the strength. Haha |

I know nice seen you guys as well and yes I will lol. |
Sorry, I couldn't make it. I overslept and missed it. :(
On a separate note, what dealership do you guys take your Z for routine service/warranty work? I am due for my first oil change (purchased prepaid maintenance plan). Thanks in advance |
Quote:
Kinda notice lol jk is all good will meet soon. Most of us do all of the work oil change and so on its your choice but we all like to put the high quality stuff. Nonetheless the dealer just puts exactly what it needs. |

I was hoping to find a reputable dealer but sounds like I'll have to take my chances.

remember what ever dealer you bring it to, dont let them wash your car ;) |
Who all went on Sunday? Bummed I missed it

Isaac and I where it for Z's but we had a few new guys show up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Thanks for the suggestions fellas. I actually purchased the car from Gearld, so I'll stick with them for service. While I'm just getting an oil change, I've seen some techs mistreat the cars i.e. scratch the wheels by dropping the wheel hard on the ground or with the impact gun, scratching the paint, etc.. I'm pretty meticulous about my things. :)
And I typically decline the 'free' wash ;) |

I also bought my Z at Gerald Naperville. I hope they do good. |

^^First oil change on my Z, done.
Car wash was declined by me, since i washed before heading there. They politely offered synthetic oil. Waited 40 minutes, while I checked out the blue GTR, and new 2015 z with persimmon leather. The guy said they can do the persimmon at the dealer. He will call me back with details. Kinda interesting in doing it. |
Good to hear. The only bad experience I had with Gerald Naperville service was when I got the Z aligned there. They let some kid do it who didn't give me a print out and didn't bother to set both sides to equal settings. But lesson learned, it's better to go to a real alignment shop.
