Yeah i only took about 20-30 pics... was going for some artsy type stuff... didn't get many whole-car shots. Also didn't get any group shots as there was such a smattering of sh*t cars with the Z's that it really threw off the "mojo".

They're still on my camera currently... that's mi proyecto for tonite. :tup:

well our cars and coffee group was i think 13 cars and when we got there there were 20 spots accross the street from ALs beef and how ever many were in Al's beef parking lot. The problem is only 4 cars showed up before we rolled in :ugh2:, all the other spots were taken by regular cars (not involved with ChicagoZ)

They expected the gates to be open (probably another 300 spots), and they weren't so that really hurt the useable space. What also made it worse is no designated area, everybody just parked in an open space. Our group got split up naturally.

And yeah apparently someone did a burn out. Mostly it's people were just ripping it out of there past the cop who was controlling the traffic so we could cross the street back and forth :shakes head:

but I dont want to make it seem all negative. The event was good and I saw lots of different cars/people which was nice. Our premeet cars and coffee group was good; I liked that part.

Anybody else find it odd that both Soobies that showed up had blown their engines previously? Hmmm, issues with boost + OEM engine internals.

I only knew about one of them. It probably is trying to run more boost on stock engine. Probably wasn't designed for a lot on oem internals. Many factory engines can't take a lot of boost even our Z's I wouldn't push past 500 on stock internals.

I want boost. ****. I'd settle for a STS rear mount lol

In summary May, July, Sept. Supercar Saturdays will be in Bolingbrook. June and August will be in Bannickborn (Half Day Road and Waukegan Road). Page 1 of this thread will be updated with details today :)

Interesting, Z1motorsports is now selling the FI exhaust. I wonder what the wait time is for it. When I did an experiment order they offer options of next day shipping...

They offer SS and Carbon Fiber with Non res, 12" , or 18" res.

It has arrived and it's on the car. Still breaking it in, but it's awesome.

Almost perfect. The passenger side is a tad higher than the drivers side. Right now, if I try to put my finger between the tip and the bumper I can slide it in to about my first knuckle on the driver's side and about half way up my nail on the passenger side.

I'm going to leave it for now, and let it settle in. Then I'll go back give everything a final adjustment. That being said, it's so close that I'll probably just leave it until I get the Evo-R rear diffuser because I'm have to add spacers to the hangers to make them fit together anyway.

^ just throw a washer under the bolts of the rear mount on that side. When I had mine it was the same way.


Anyone going to Automass at Toyota Park this Sunday? Since I'm not showing my car yet I'll be helping out as a judge on the car show side... I believe its only 10 bucks for spectators.. drift and car show thing.
