Kinda notice lol jk is all good will meet soon. Most of us do all of the work oil change and so on its your choice but we all like to put the high quality stuff. Nonetheless the dealer just puts exactly what it needs.

Most of us do our own. When I first got the car I did the first 3 oil changes at Arlington Nissan, but I did not have the best experience with them.

I was hoping to find a reputable dealer but sounds like I'll have to take my chances.

its an oil change........ive had good success with both crystal lake (M'Lady) and St Charles Nissan. St Charles Nissan actually does oil changes right in front of the waiting room window so you can watch.

remember what ever dealer you bring it to, dont let them wash your car

Not sure about the dealers in the city but I've had good service from Gerald Nissan Naperville. I do routine maintenance myself as well, but they've done warranty work on all 3 of my Nissans and I've been happy

Thanks for the suggestions fellas. I actually purchased the car from Gearld, so I'll stick with them for service. While I'm just getting an oil change, I've seen some techs mistreat the cars i.e. scratch the wheels by dropping the wheel hard on the ground or with the impact gun, scratching the paint, etc.. I'm pretty meticulous about my things.

And I typically decline the 'free' wash

Which Gerald? Sadly oil changes at dealerships are typically handled by the lowest paid, most novice member of the team....

^^First oil change on my Z, done.
Car wash was declined by me, since i washed before heading there.
They politely offered synthetic oil. Waited 40 minutes, while I checked out the blue GTR, and new 2015 z with persimmon leather.
The guy said they can do the persimmon at the dealer.
He will call me back with details. Kinda interesting in doing it.

Good to hear. The only bad experience I had with Gerald Naperville service was when I got the Z aligned there. They let some kid do it who didn't give me a print out and didn't bother to set both sides to equal settings. But lesson learned, it's better to go to a real alignment shop.
