Is it still too late to invite others to the event? I don't want to go by myself hehe. With your info I can send out an FB invite to see who can go. There are a few interested so far.

^^ correct!
i cant garuntee how many we can squeez into dyno tme, but inviting more for the cruise would be awesome. it should be a good time all around for people to enjoy even if they dont dyno |
No problem. I'm not sure who wants dyno time, but I'll make note of it on the FB invite.
|
MKC does use uprev....found that out yesterday if that helps you out there digitonium
|
U going to have them look at your hot start prob?

hey, I'll show up, I forget to check this forum now and then.
i just spent my winter funds on new coil overs and suspension parts. so with no power upgrades i have no need to get on a dyno yet. Down to come watch and hang out tho. |

sh!t ya, im not gone, just forgot that this is where you guys hang. excited to see your rides again.
dad just one up'd me and bought a 350 nismo, so I may get a friend bring it along as well (but just count me in for now) |
Bring them all....Hmmmm still no one from STL coming?:werd:
|
I love the 350 nismos. definately need to get that one to the meet

Some Zs and Gs from the Aspire video. One of the guys that did the photography and video responded as "attending." He has a Subie. Another has a flush G35. I invited several others (turbo s2k, a couple modded 350Z DE, modded 350Z HR, etc.).
I would love to use the dyno time to dial up the boost while monitoring the car for safety (got the UpRev cable). If they have time, it'll be cool to get it tuned (if necessary). Initial plan was for a Dallas road trip to an UpRev tuner. |

yeah Ill def be there. got someone to work for me that sat. should be a good time!
|
^^ awesome!!

Hell with this being the first year of this, I can only imagine how many will show up next year.

and ya if you are actually wanting to "tune" i would say probably should get that done a day or two before jsut because we are already gonne be cramming cars in to get 3 pulls in, so i dont know if we would have the full time neccessary to tune that day |
I like your post count...666
|
I have minor upgrades, so if someone with more wants the dyno time I'll give mine up.
|
^^ thanks for being flexible. i think most of us are understanding enough to let the people who really wanna dyno go first. i'm the same way. i'd like to to, but if theres no time, i won't lose sleep over it. and as stated before, we dont need to be out by any certain time, so we dyno until we get tired of dyno'ing i guess
|
No problem. I can use the 3 pulls to dial close to 9 PSI while monitoring AFR. It's running whatever conservative tune Sam provided for 91 octane. It's pretty rich, too, with a bit of headroom for more boost. If I can make it through without requiring a tune, that'll be nice as well.

Who did your headlights?
|
:ninja3:Well it's looking like I will do the dyno now. Got something in the works for the Z and after the meet up it'll probably be gone for at least a month. So now it's more important than ever to have all my parts in by Feb. 20th. Damn this will rock...sorry no info on what's gonna happen....:gtfo2: I think my wallet is about to pack it's bags and find a new home.
|
I think your wallet packed up its bags after the body kit :roflpuke2:
|
My wallet is scared to get within 2 miles of Tower's wallet.....
|
Just when I think I'm done spending money for the year something else pops up and it's back to square one. If the price is right ill do it but if I'm looking at another 2 grand, I got to draw the line somewhere or I'm back to where I was 2 yrs ago and working only to pay bills.
|
sts tt setup....????
|
Nope.....he said its pointless for twins because the single can make up to 950hp
At the same time he did say they would build it if someone really wanted it but you better be ready to not see your car for about 2 months |
Who did your turbo setup or better yet where was it done?
|
If you're asking me...I bought it from executive performance in meriam,KS. I would not go that route, I would buy it online..like from UAM --jamicia. Save yourself about 800-900$ on taxes, plus Andrew is a great guy to do with business with.
Now as far as install it was also done by them (exuctive performance) but I warn you now. They work on mainly domestic cars and will take 2-3 weeks to finish. I would check with MKC to see they could do the install or hell do it yourself and save another $1200. Many routes to with this system. |

I'm excited to see some truly done up cars. I want my headlights done and my taillights smoked. My major problem is the Z is my daily driver. I can't have the down time.....I have a 3rd car but my daughter drives it and the household would have a tough time with just 2 vehicles.
Just did a hour worth of studying on the STS turbo. Sounds interesting. I can't wait to see and hear it in person. YouTube videos suck for this stuff. |
Well I'm hoping that the CF Amuse kit comes in by then and I can fix the off and on misfire. That's what I got planned for my week off when I get back home.
It's my DD as well but with my job I've got a company truck. I can use it as my DD when I want but it's a long bed F350. Damn thing is like driving a limo. So yeah the 8 weeks I didn't have my car was HORRIBLE. I'm wishing I would of listened to my friend and installed it ourselves at our shop. |
man hope we can get some weather like this on march 3rd. waking up at 6:30 to 58 degrees in january isn't too bad
|
wish i was closer
|
