Then, divide your tax liability by the number of paychecks that you expect to receive. That figure will represent what you should be withholding from each of your paychecks. Do this for Federal AND State. If your withholdings are too low, then file a new W4 that specifies "an additional amount" to withholding, or you may reduce your allowances, or do a combination of both. When your income changes significantly, estimate again.

They are actually going to help with the issue....So no harm no foul. Now I just need to ask if they will help with the price of the paint for the new kit. Don't really want it sitting around a bunch of special ed kids that will probably damage it. I'd rather have it on my car.

A few more points. When using software to estimate, enter 0 into the "Taxes you paid" field. The "Taxes you owe" field will represent your estimated tax liability for the entire year. Divide this number by the number of paychecks. This will represent your estimated withholdings per paycheck.

Once you learn how to "float" the clutch you'll have it. I would say start off slow...the burns out will come with pratice. Take to a big empty lot. After about 3 months of playing around when I got my first manual I was able to smoke the tires in reverse and not kill it on steep hills.

Driving a manual can't really be shown...I've tried...it's all about time and learning your clutch and shifting points. If you hit the gears and rpms right you can shift without the clutch...I don't know about the newer trannys if you can do that but yeah it can be done.

You sure you aren't feeling our cars overly aggressive vdc kicking in? it takes sooo much power away in first sometimes.

sometime when u get a chance, flip the vdc off (in an open area of course) and lay into it in first. also, first to second can be clunky in our cars. sounds like something taht may smooth out aftr some time behind the wheel.

and as for the lighter clutch helper springs: that really bums me out that that thing doesn't fix our vague clutch feel.... i was thinkin bout ordering one

I have the spring but have not put it in yet. I've gotten used to the current clutch which takes time because it is a little trickier than other clutches I've had.

^^ agreed. it seems like when the clutch pedal feels like your grabbing and when the pressure plate actually grabs are 2 different points
