Depending on how bad it is, one of the best detailers in the country lives right in Shakopee (Rasky).

Got back with the dealer, they will send me a $700 check for repairs is the most they would go. Going to the shop where tevi and zane went (certified nissan) in brooklyn park, any other suggestions?

waaaait, are referring to Lupient?? There are much better detailers/painters that will KILL the work they will do for $700. Tevi's front bumper in photos doesn't even blend with his bodycolor. Yes, pearl white is one of the hardest colors to paint, but as a factory color, they should be able to do it.

100% call Chad. Here is his website: Rasky's Auto Detailing

He is well known throughout the country, and does the best of the best work. He's one of the top resources on Detailed Image (detailing blog). There's guys that SHIP cars to him throughout the US and Canada!

He's typically booked about 3-5 months(which says something about his work) but is in your favor with winter. Your car will literally look better then showroom new.

I stoped by lupient and wasn't to expensive, I emailed chad, I'll see if he can take a look at the z! I saw your g before, and FLAWLESS! I'll most likely to go with the people you recommend.

My G...yeah, I hardly drove, and for that very reason, to try and keep show quality. I bought it from Georgia from a very reputable member on the myg37 forums. I spent a lot of money on paint for my kit/trunk, but it was well worth it. Only thing I regretted w/ the car was...i wasn't able to enjoy it enough since i was so paranoid about the damn paint! lol...black sure can be a PITA

Depending on how bad the repair is, Janik is a G member that has been doing detailing on the side for a few years now. He actually learned everything he knows from Chad. I think he typically charges 2-300. He's not a professional, but he is very reputable (I've known him for years) and knows what he's doing. I can get you in touch with him too, he goes to school in Fargo but comes home for weekends and jobs.

Chad is one of the "best of the best" and is a professional. He reads your clear coat and how thick it is, and does full paint repair. He's taken some cars that everyone said needed to be repainted and he made them look brand spankin' new.

Yeah this is my 2nd black car, they are a pain in the *** but look so nice! I think zane has told me about janik before. Id just like to go with chad since he might have more experience with it but if anything, since 2 g members has said janik does nice jobs i wouldn't have issues going through him also.

for quick reference...

I still have to put socks and plastic bags over the exhaust tips, just in case. Also need to monitor the tires and maintain a higher than normal PSI for the winter.

Did you make an appointment with him? Curious as to how far he's booked out over the winter months. I'm planning to get my front resprayed and then put on a clear bra. I'm planning to have him do the full package with his "perminant coating". He's definitely the sh8t!!

Yeah we plan out sometime in april but got to call him and set a firm date. think he said hes booked till december as of now? I'm going to have to respray the hood, debating on a clear bra on a black car because you can kind of see the lines.

Just make sure you book early. He'll get booked out next spring quick. Slows down in the winter obviously because people don't want to worry about taking their cars out in the mess to get it to him.

Honestly, with a black car its one of the easiest colors to color match, you can take it almost any reputable shop. They just need to use quality adhearant and primers, along with a quality clear and a wetsand/buff.

My shop is about 30-40 mins south of where I live. I've taken my G35, G37, and FX35 there. A few months ago, I found out that Kline Nissan sends some of their warranty work(had a door resprayed on our 2013 Altima) to a shop near them which they did immaculate work on my wife's door, color matched perfectly in pearl white. Was very impressed. I'll try and figure out which shop this is for you...

Wow that would be great! I was thinking of going with the place where tevi sprayed his bumper, they quoted 350 for the hood and they are a certified Nissan shop to.

You're probably fine going there for a black spray. Like I mentioned previously, I just wouldn't EVER go there for a white or any color w/ a pearl in it. In every single photo of his car, the whites are completely different of the front bumper and the car....they didn't do very good with blending it.

Yeah I talked to Zane about it and he said that tevi only brought the bumper in to get matched instead of the car itself. Do you have any recommendations on where to buy a car cover?

There's a nice Nismo cover at the dealers...I personally only trust Coverking. Expensive covers, but worth every penny for our paint. Owned an indoor only one for my G, and purchased an all weather one for my Nismo.

Zane should buy the one I sold Tevi...thing is softer then silk.

Is it a perfect fit on the Nismo? And which is better cover king or dealer? Since it's a black car I'm trying to be super careful

Nah man, way too much crap on the roads already to even chance it. With my exhaust and KW's installed, there's no way I want all that salt destroying my parts.

Hey guys! I NEED to meet everyone, anyways I have a base 12 370z and it sitting for the winter and was wondering if or what suspension setup you all recommend and what brands, coils or springs shocks/struts? After you buy the springs and s/s your only a couple hundred away from a set of decent coils. Not tracking the car but may do some time at bir or mostly spirited driving. And if anyone has stuff for sale for there 370z or if theres a place on the370z.com where you look for local sales. Going to get FI cbe with 12" res and hi flow cats non res, and was thinking headers? Also I ordered Takeda attack intake. Thanks and sorry for long post.

We've obviously PM's back and forth quite a bit. The takada, you got a great price on so definitely support that purchase!

As for everything else, just let me know what you need. I'm a Vendor for Fast Intentions so I can answer any and all questions having to do with their products. Have owned two of their exhausts (G37 and now Nismo), have been to their shop for a full week in Simi Valley, CA to see how things are built. Can't speak any higher when it comes to quality of their products which is why you really don't see me advertise for any other exhaust even though I can get pretty much any exhaust available for our platforms.

If you do LTH's, you won't need cats/tps since they completely delete the cat section. We CAN put 100cell cats in the end of the headers for you.

Suspention, like I mentioned before, its all up to what you want to spend. I can offer great prices on any brand. BC Racing is a great coilover for around $1k, which you find is a commonly used coil on these forums. Stance coils give great adjustability but a horish ride quality. For $1500ish I would say Tein or KW V1's. Around 2k you're getting into KW V3's and "edfc" options for Tein.
Keep in mind, you'll want atleast a rear camber kit, if not front camber arms depending on how low you go.

You know you're more then welcome to PM me anytime on here, or add me on Facebook>
