In case anybody was wondering about the steering lock recall, I actually got notification in the mail today stating Nissan will replace the part (ESCL) + labor free of charge with my VIN number on a card. Not sure if you have to have this card to get the recall work for free.

Congrats on quitting smoking. I quit 35+ years ago and am really glad I did. It's actually easier to quit now because so many places are non-smoking. 35+ years ago people smoked everwhere so you never really got away from it.

I took an over the counter product called Bantron which I credit me success to. I don't know if it's still available or not.

Even after 35+ years there are still times, especially after eating a nice dinner, I lean back and think..."A Lucky Strike sure would taste good now."

Good luck. It gets a little easier every day.

Finally I have them ready to be put back on. Color Matched Gun Metallic Housing with Black Shrouds and Black Trim around the outside and boomerang.

By far the most difficult project Ive done I think to date, or at least the scariest. If anyone else is willing to tackle, I can def give you my pain points that I went through.

Thanks for the support. Well 36 hours and counting. I'm starting smell things I didn't smell before and some of them I wish I couldn't . I'm using the patch and it seems to be working. As a motivation device I have my last pack of smokes sitting next to me. So every time I look at them, it reminds me how much they have f*cked up my health up over the years. At the same time I think I'm going to have a lollipop addiction when it's all said and done.

A bunch of my buddies use e-Cigs since it was more of going through the motions of smoking rather than needing one itself out of habit. He has tried quitting many times as well and I think the e-Cigs has been the most beneficial for him.

Nahh. I don't even want to fake it. I just want to be done 100%. Tired of the smell and burning sh*t when I'm drunk.

Nicely done pbhakta. What method did you use to crack open your lights?

Used oven method lens up 250 degrees for 15 mins. Score it with a screw driver and pry away. The diy video helped a lot.
