not bad. takes about 2hrs or so. The blank can be the biggest pain.
Also, it is the LED blinking lamp but it may already be sold. Almost everything has been hit except the bumper.

edub370 12-31-2013 10:25 AM

damn... i really dig the euro butt hole fogs

:icon17: It gets a lot of attention when active. Most people thought I had my cautions on.. I guess they have never seen F1

m3chhawk 12-31-2013 10:52 AM

Mine is setup with the Kahtec relay so that it flashes for 3 seconds and then goes solid. If you take your foot off and back on within 10 seconds it stays solid.

I like that idea. The rear fog light is on my list of things to do and I'd like to set mine up like that. Is the DIY you followed on here somewhere?

When I had mine it would flash constantly when I was on the brakes. I'm sure it saved my car a few times watching cars nose dive when they seen it flashing.

I used one of the fog light DIY's on here for the wire colors, but it's pretty straight forward otherwise...

Basically brake light signal wire and ground from the passenger tail light to the kahtec then Kahtec signal and ground to the fog light.

Here is the link to all their stuff:
Products

I have the Smart Stop Delay

I can give you hand if you decide to go that route.

Thanks. I'm going to gather parts and wait for warmer weather. It's a little too frosty to be working on the car, even with a garage. The complex frowns on kerosene heaters in their little garages. :ugh2:

Last night i was working on it got 3 bolts into detaching the stock exhaust and I broke my swivel socket adapter. Look outside, snowing like crazy, so it was on hold until i go get another one now.

cregan6318 01-03-2014 09:11 AM

Nice exhaust. My mod budget just went to crap since I got my wife a new car

erkthejerk73 01-03-2014 01:54 PM

hello bros you have missed me i hear!

Gilianz 01-04-2014 11:21 PM

Boy, have I been away from this forum. Turbo cars, new exhausts... and I'm sitting here in my SUV in the snow in Manhattan, KS. I really wish this snow would turn to 60 degree weather so I can take my Z for a spin again. With how much work I'm doing through summer I think I might change out Res TP for straight TP. Then get a tune and coilovers (maybe?). I'm wanting to do more performance mods but there's not much to do without spending some money... Maybe exterior mods? suggestions anyone? Evo-R fog light or something?

tower74 01-04-2014 11:31 PM

I have let my AWD car sit in garage during the snow due to the street tires. It does not do well in the snow. Tires are like slicks on ice.

Post yours for trade straight across for a set of straight TP.

If you are on a budget, go springs instead of coils. Don't do a tune until you have all your performance mods installed.

A little bit of tint and platidip go a long way.

Gilianz 01-05-2014 12:57 AM

The thing is I'm not sure how much more rasp I will have if I change from Res TP to straight TP. I have I believe 18" Resonators on my APEX'i and Res TP at the moment. It sounds nice but I kind of want it a tad bit louder when stepping on it. Not sure if changing from Res TP to straight TP will do anything. Also I forgot I could also get a Y-pipe but don't think that changes the tone of the exhaust much... Does it?

Attention all Heart of America Z Car Club members and friends. Mark Sunday, February 2nd on your calendar for our annual Zuper Bowl Party. This year we have a new location...Brewbakers at 9482 Renner Road in Lenexa. This is just west of I-435 and just north of 95th. This is a great spot with great food and drinks.

Again, your HAZCC will be providing some appetizers and you'll be running your own tab. More details will be following so far now, mark your calendar!! This is open to all past. present, and future HAZCC members!

BTW, there will NOT be a meeting preceding this so this be a "No Work. All Play" Event!

The game starts at 5:30 Central Time so begin arriving around 5-ish.

Did Status give you a discount off retail? I've got a vendor that will give me 15-20% off Status products and free shipping. I'm just not sure what/how I want to build them at this point and want to see them in person first.
