Yea it def helped out. It helps you feel the engagement point a bit more and prevented the push back the pedal gives with the OEM spring. With the Helper spring it is a lot softer so doesnt fight against your foot to return to the top.

Jasonle 06-26-2013 08:55 AM

Ima definitely look into this! Thanks for the input

sboden 06-26-2013 12:14 PM

I've had one for a couple of years and have not put it in yet.

Jasonle 06-26-2013 12:19 PM

I think i will probably be going as well. Meeting up this time before hand or just meeting up at KC Trends?

EDIT: Actually i think me and the wifey will be heading to Salty Iguana to try it out for the first time right by KC Trends before Fast Friday. Anyone else is welcome, probably be there around 5:30

you won't be disappointed, tho never been to that location.

I say maybe just meet up at kc trends.

rolling together is seriously half the fun, but if just a couple of us, really no need.

edub370 07-02-2013 09:14 AM

night time cruise this weekend anyone?

JacksonZ33 07-03-2013 01:17 PM

dad's shopping for wheels...

gts or meisters ?

*** edited he just brought some gold gts. :)

edub370 07-03-2013 02:48 PM

both are nice, and both look damn good on z's. but be warned, works are VERY heavy. i would go volks myself

ZKraken22 07-03-2013 09:34 PM

Were gonna have to do something soon. something extreme and everyone would be able make it. I'll be out of town this weekend.

edub370 07-04-2013 10:29 AM

Agreed. I'm thinking maybe an early morning meet for breakfast followed by some back road cruising. or we could just do some back roading and find a place to eat lunch somewhere. maybe a run out towards Lawrence?

aCoul82 07-08-2013 09:18 AM

Well I spent the better part of yesterday getting dirty but finally got the oil cooler on. I should have bought more than 6 quarts to fill it though its still pretty low. Anyone else have the 25 row and could tell me how much they typically have to use?

Where were you coming from today? I was late heading back to work lol

sboden 07-09-2013 05:49 AM

I just got lunch and was late getting that. I was coming from Mr. Gyro. Traffic kept getting in my way while trying to get to you. I didn't have time to stop in the garage.

Anyone hitting up Fast Friday?

edub370 07-09-2013 04:43 PM

yet again. plans have been made for me.... trying to figure out a way to get out of them

mcconned 07-09-2013 06:26 PM

REMINDER!! Burn Outs and Burnt Ends
When: Wednesday, July 17.
Time: 6-8 pm.
Where: Oklahoma Joes
11950 South Strang Line Road
Olathe, KS.
This is on the SW corner of 119th and Strang Line by Tractor Supply.

This will be different than the number #1 event in that, due to the large volume of business Oklahoma Joes does, we were unable to secure special parking or seating. It was recommended to us we park closer to the Tractor Supply side of the lot.
So this will be very casual…come when you can, park where you can, and eat when/where you can.
The one thing you can count on is lots of great people sharing their love of the Z!
A Jackson and Kit Lueg Production in association with Heart of America Z Car Club! :)

Ugh....Car was hit today by a semi tire. 2nd Z that has been hit by a f'ing blown semi tire left on the highway. Car will be out for awhile while I buy a new front end. Zele will be the new choice. This will also throw me out of the turbo hunt.

haha ummmm.....

lookin at like wrangler maybe older tacoma. missing work due to weather isn't acceptable anymore.

saves money and with only one project, the 510 will get all the love and attention ( finally got it in my garage ) going either turbo KA or swap a SR in. on top of everything else it needs.

I know this is nowhere near home, but if anyone finds themselves near here, you HAVE to drive this road. I had a rental Optima turbo and it was a blast, the Z would be insane:

My wife has a turbo Sonata. She rolled her eyes when she saw me as a part of a turbo Sonata performance forum. You can do a lot with those cars and the first thing is suspension. Not fun in corners but the car has plenty of potential.
