My car has every single mod he has listed, but i cant get the landing strip on the headlights to come on... Also my rims have been flacking alot lately and from the pictures in his thread it looks like my wheels are powder coated and someone has painted over them....

Anyone ever tried to remove paint off powder coated wheels?

This is his members journal

With him not being on for that long. I would say he is gone. Go to where you bought the car and get the car fax. If the car was in Utah it will show that. Otherwise you are on your own. Also if you noticed his first name was Jeff. That should show up as well. Good Luck

Ya the cars from utah I have the car fax but doesn't give a name. Thats why I say im 99% positive it was his. I just have a few questions to ask him and I can't, not really that big of a deal tho. Just mainly want to know why he would powder coat the rims and then paint them And who put the wing on. O well no biggie I guess, just got to figure out how to get this paint off the wheels so the powder coat doesn't get ruined.

Have you seen these pictures of the 2014 Nismo?

https://www.facebook.com/groups/3927...2155374&type=1

sboden 02-10-2013 10:23 AM

The PS90 should be here in a week or two. I'm seeing if and at what price I can find an EOTech XPS2-0 optic in the area today. I then have to see if anyone carries the 5.7x28mm rounds. Cabelas and Bass Pro show it online, so I'm hoping they have it in the store. When I get everything put together, I'll post a picture of the setup of this ugly but great home defense bullpup. I'm also thinking of trading in my Glock 17 9mm to help with all the final costs. It was my previous home defense weapon. Of course with the money spent on this, I could have done a few things with the Z. The main reasons I went this route is the political climate and the fact I can immediately make money by reselling it though I'm not going to.

They also need to remove those fuc#king stickers. Really? A $46,000 car and they put stickers on it. Come on Nissan!

Hell maybe next year we can get some streamers on the mirrors

tower74 02-10-2013 04:20 PM

Well the old Z was dropped off yesterday, finally. I had to change out the fuel injectors yesterday. Thought it was going to be a pain but it was actually easy. After finishing that I flashed the car back to stock. Started it up and it ran like a champ. It actually ran better than the day I bought it.

Also someone in KC might be driving it shortly. I was told that after it gets cleaned up and the missing parts (interior) replaced it was to be out on the lot. It already has 2 people wanting to test drive it and one may buy it without even driving it!???! Oh well the car is theirs and is no longer my problem.....even with the missing parts.

Does anyone know of a local body shop that can do spray tint for taillights? Not Nite-shades, but actual candy clear.

Right. Hell the car ran great on Saturday when I finally dropped it off. That being said it's all on the dealer. They do need to do some interior work, not much though. :tiphat:

Look in the DIY section and save the cash. It looks easy...little time consuming but easy or talk to a tinter. The guy off 40hwy in blue Springs are good guys.

m3chhawk 02-11-2013 11:01 AM

I don't like the nite-shades look, it's too matte/flat. Don't really like tint either, no matter how good it is you can see edges and it just has a different look to it. Not sure how to describe it.

oh you can definitely get it shiny enough, most people skip the whole wet sand and buffing of the clear coat. in additional to the majority of people just generally sucking at rattle cans.

I would advise against vht tho, after 2 years it complete fades away. but for me its nothing to re-spray again.

angle of our tails get too much sun to keep from fading.

As long as the debts get paid it all works out in the end. If I had to choose between steaks for a year or soup and sandwiches to go FI again. Soup here I come. I need to loose the weight anyways.
