I haven't even seen one of my Z's in 3 months now. The other one, I have to look at the garage space full of parts for it every day. Maybe I'll be motivated to get it back up to snuff once it warms up a bit more.

I got it back yesterday but it may be going back due to the poor paint job I'm noticing.:shakes head:

Grand total of just the repairs was $9500..lol

Well a lady in her mid to upper 60's decided she didn't like the rear of my car today. My car is in front of her except for the very back part of my rear wheel and the small piece of rear bumper behind the wheel. She decided she wanted into my lane and just came on over.... She said multiple times including to the police officer that she looked back two times before she came over. When she said it to the cop, I loudly said that is fine but I was in FRONT of you......

Sounds like she was trying to take you out smokey and the bandit style...

sboden 03-08-2015 06:13 PM

She even failed at that lol. Looks like a repaint of the rear bumper and if it can't be polished a powder coat of the wheel.

Mandatory yearly testing of all drivers over 60....... :stirthepot:

Wait... that's me in 2 years....:eekdance:

sboden 03-11-2015 01:54 PM

LOL....I do think at 70 there should be testing at minimum every 2 years. She ended up being 75 years old. She didn't mess up the actual bumper but it needs to be painted again. Looks like the marks on my wheel can be polished out. $659 in damage so pretty minor overall.

My parents are in their 80's and are still driving. Well, Mom doesn't drive as much, usually only once a week. Dad does all the driving, and I just have to make sure when I go visit, I'm not in line with the garage or near where they might back up. :eekdance:

Good to know that there wasn't much damage, just sucks that you have to pull the bumper to have it painted. :p
