the first one just burn up from too much fun driving or what?

Lemers 07-09-2012 04:12 PM

It only had 25000 miles. That was pretty quick to burn out a clutch.

Covered under warranty?

Lemers 07-09-2012 05:10 PM

Yes. It was completely free. If I wasn't thinking of trading the the car I would of asked for a better clutch and I paid the difference if allowed.

JacksonZ33 07-10-2012 06:35 PM

FF'n= the act of attending fast Fridays.

I'm not the one who puts this together, but we meet at buffalo wild wings at 105th & Metcalf, roll in as a crew

Nuki 07-10-2012 08:30 PM

JacksonZ33 07-13-2012 11:15 AM

what size tires you running?

edub370 07-13-2012 02:43 PM

got the z back with a new transmission and new tires today...

and they broke my window switch. driver window wont roll up, but passenger will from the drivers side controll... tried every single way of resetting (15 sec olding down, 15 sec holding up. door closed etc..) and nothin. they ordered me a new one, but how the heck do u mess up a window switch swapping a trans.

also got new tires. and i can see where there impact scratched my wheels a bit

just... dammit...

Lemers 07-13-2012 03:08 PM

Is anyone going to Fast Fridays at Trends? What time is it? Is it every Friday? What theme is it? Will an unmodded Z be out of place?

im cursed with window motor problems so i know the feeling. i change mine yearly

Lemers 07-16-2012 11:30 AM

What are the good detailing car washes around here? Preferably on the KS side of the river.

JacksonZ33 07-16-2012 11:56 AM

be more specific, i've been to nearly every car wash in kc. and have opinions on all of them.

edub370 07-16-2012 12:49 PM

how much "detailing" are u want done. like full on wash and wax and the whole 9?

Lemers 07-16-2012 12:56 PM

We just drive my Z and Explorer around 2000 miles. First I want a full wash and wax with vacuum. There was a place in El Paso that would do it for around $100. $50 outside $50 inside.

JacksonZ33 07-16-2012 01:11 PM

oh your talking like paying someone to detail for you.....

cant help ya there... any waterway, but i think they do half a$$ job

zcar_dad 07-16-2012 02:05 PM

HAZCC has a sponsor for members, who gives a discount on detailing. He is also a HAZCC member.

Nuki 07-16-2012 10:06 PM

Had a dream about driving my Nismo last night, but it was a RHD. LOL I guess you gotta be here to appreciate that; the American vehicles are all RHD, while the British drive LHD.

I've been here too long.. starting to dream backwards. One more week of work, and I'm OUT!!! Seven years in Afghanistan, jeez.

sboden 07-16-2012 11:01 PM

Looks like you had the dream twice......There is a Z club member from HAZCC that does detailing with a discount for members as zcar dad said.

Nuki 07-17-2012 08:00 AM

Grrr... that happens sometimes when posting from Afghani land.

edub370 07-17-2012 08:45 AM

anyone wanna go to the next ff. maybe get a group together? i figured the 2 week notice might be able to help people plan for it or whatever
