"This isn't cold at all compared to TEXAS."

Thanks for reminding me. I'll shoot you a few texts for your upcoming NY trip.

I think I used up all those brownie points and I don't think that invite back is gonna happen now :eekdance:

This morning Madwi was nice enough to let me roll out in his Z. After my previous excursion at ZDayZ 2018 before it was boosted, I should have known it wasn't going to go well :shakes head: At least at ZDayZ we just scraped the exhaust cans a bit and got stuck behind a semi on the Dragon. Today I wasn't paying close enough attention and was unable to avoid a small rock that an oncoming vehicle kicked up in front of us. It blasted the windshield, skipping off the front edge of the painted roof

We got back and even Ted could tell something was wrong :(

For the record, the car drives amazingly well. The coolerworx shifter has a very nice feel and is a real treat to drive with. The turbo spool is downright beautiful. It spools hard and fast when you want it to and is still completely manageable. Driving the car casually is also extremely enjoyable as it stays very tame with light-mild throttle input even as RPMs rise and boost comes on. I see myself owning one in the very distant future lol

Sucks that it happened but that's why I have insurance. it was bound to happen at some point.

Bill and Jar disappeared for a little while and then showed up with two big *** fans for the garage. It was HOT this past weekend and we all sweated a lot. :icon17: The fans are amazing and were a really big surprise. I bow to their generosity.

Early morning shot. They left most of the Z's at my place and took the Fit to the hotel. Rather the Fit get jacked up in a riot than Zs. :icon17: :icon17:

Lotta trim gotta be pulled off for windshield replacement; you may want to pull the trim yourself to prevent glass company from breaking a clip or something :ugh2:

The worse thing is saying good bye to everyone. :(

It's so nice to put faces with the names.

Ghost, I was expecting a 6'8" ex DI Marine. Not a runt grut. :rofl2:

Betty, I was expecting a long hair brunette. Not a black mid length haired Karen.

Well, someone's gotta hump the tripod for Ma Deuce.....:ugh2:

It was great to meet everyone for the first time. Hopefully, I can make the Labor day trip with the better half.

Got my covid test this morning. They didn't want to give me a rapid test, but I've got an inspection scheduled tomorrow and need to know before then.

Leingod 07-09-2020 09:31 AM

We got our done on Monday. 4 day turnaround supposedly.

JARblue 07-09-2020 11:34 AM

My covid test results came back negative already
