West Michigan Summer Z Meetup

A few of us are looking at meeting up at my place for lunch and then taking the cars out for a small cruise, someplace. There are no plans made at this time as we are just kicking around the idea.

As of right now the weekend of July 4th was suggested and it works for me and a few others. Trying to get it out far enough to get rid of this corona crap and keeping everyone safe. Suggestions are welcome if this weekend doesnt work for you.

There was talk of the possibility of us cruising down to AutoDynamix shop in Kalamazoo and do some dyno runs, hangout and/or something. This is about an hour away from my house. If a run on the dyno sounds good, I could use a head count so we can get an idea of what to plan and rates. If looking for a tune, your tuner can remote into their dyno while you are making your runs. I have 0 knowledge of the shops rates at this time. I will need to talk with gbrettin a bit.

I am open to all suggestions for things to do. Hamburgs and (all beef) hotdogs for lunch with normal sides is always a classic and I wont have to cook all day. :icon17: Might make you all cook your dogs over the campfire again. :yum: :icon17:

I’m 99.9% sure, but flexible on other dates too!

Thats good, now there wont be an awkward conversation about you not being invited in the first place.

Tentatively in, with the Megan. I think I've got that Friday off from work anyway. Actually only about a 10 hour drive, not bad!

I'm to close to not go.

Susan and I are down for the drive. We'd even cut through Canada this time to cut drive down to 10 hours. We would spend an extra day of so.

I'm down to clown.

If people are planning on multiple days there are a couple nice Airbnb places in Rockford, and Grand Rapids is only 10 minutes south of my house. I'll feed ya and give you guys a place to hang out.

I'd honestly stay at that hotel again. It really wasn't that bad and put us in shooting distance of common amenities.

The airbnb that overlooks the dam in rockford is a neat place and really close to charming downtown. Hot dogs, ice cream shops ect.

Maybe we all could drive over to Perrin brewery for lunch one day. Their lot is huge and can fit all the cars, with room to spare.
