i'm actually making a day of it too, heading up to kings mountain to eat lunch with my dad, then to hickory to shoot a 996 turbo, then help my friend with the red Z33 nismo finish a few mods on his car, splash some water and soap on my truck and we will be up there around dinner time tomorrow

The options there are fairly limited. I would recommend bringing extra snacks and maybe a few "backup meals" - especially breakfast related items. Many people end up grilling out if the weather is nice on the afternoons.

That's what I like to hear! I remember taking 10 hour trips from Hampton, VA to Scott AFB, IL and stopping only to fill up. I don't drink, I don't eat, I just drive!

Scott AFB -- now THERE is a place that is a true garden spot of America........if you like corn fields......used to have an AF customer there a few years ago
