It was a good time, though. I heard that for whatever reason the GTR guys thought the meet was going to be huge, but it was just our little niche group of area 370s! Still, great food and beer as always at GB... good times.

Hah, I went there with 10 people and got put in that room. They wanted $4000?!?! I bet your ******* bill wasnt even close to that...jesus christ lol.

zZSportZz 09-21-2009 08:14 AM

I wouldn't know what the bill was....BASTARDS!

I might even get in on that one, then and drink some coffee! If I hit curbs and back my exhaust pipes into things sober....imagine what caffeine will do to me! :icon14:

Hey everyone,

Had a good time on Saturday. It was nice to meet everyone, actually, I only met one person, haha! Everyone else I already know! Wish we could have had more 370s, but I figure the next one will be even bigger. The 2nd Annual Annapolis Sports Car Club meet! :bowrofl:

I know that the GT-R guys enjoyed themselves. We rolled over to the mall to try to get some pics of the GT-Rs together after everyone else went into the restaurant, but we didn't have enough light left to get anything good. I missed Tony's curb racing for that! You guys make we want to get a 370 man!

Here are the shots I took. The light really wasn't cooperating, AND, there was a lot of random stuff in the background. But, I still managed a few good ones:

^ We're also missing a Brilliant Silver!! Wish I had one... It'd be that color if I did...

Patricia and I had a real nice time at the meet. It was great meeting everyone who I hadn't met before and it just turned out to be a good time. The next day we went to Sandy Point Park which is on the water right before you hit the bridge. I hadn't been there before. They have a huge parking lot with the bay and bridge in the background that we could use for photo shoots in the future if we ever do a meet back up this way. It was six bucks a person to get in.

Okay, here is a compiled video of the Annapolis Meet. I've posted my digital pics in my photo album as well.

Work out a time and I'll put up a separate thread for it. Lunch meet? Dinner meet?

Hmmmm....we did a dinner meet last time and the wait to get in was pretty bad. Would a lunch meet be easier? I'm good for either.....as long as they have cones behind the parking spots now. I don't wanna smash my tips into the curb again. :shakes head:

I don't know what the Annapolis Towne Center is like on a Saturday around lunch time... my guess is it's a little busy, but probably better than the dinner wait. I'm down for lunch....

2theextreme 06-04-2010 08:26 PM

Two votes for lunch so far......anyone know what time GB opens for lunch? 11 maybe?

zZSportZz 06-04-2010 11:28 PM

I vote dinner and drinks...I'm not a lunch time beer drinker usually

If you guys do lunch, I will cut all of your balls off. Im just saying. ALL of them.

And my vote is ANYTIME after 1400. So, 1600 for happy hour, leading into dinner is always a good thing for me. I LOVE that place.

Probably emptier than you think...GB doesnt start filling up for dinner until around 5-6 in the afternoon...but I guess lunch has its own time slot eh?

Shift 06-06-2010 08:35 AM

I say brunch that way Bobo can make it. Hahaha

2theextreme 06-06-2010 01:20 PM

How about Lunner? Combo of lunch & dinner? I'm cool with after 2 PM. The plan is coming together...slowly but surely! ;)

How was the car show in OC?

It was really nice! Not many Nissan's at all......I was the only 370 that I saw. Unfortunately when I stepped away from my car they judged it.....and I listened to the guy I went with and locked the vehicle and shut the hood. They never actually saw under my hood which has most of my cool visual stuff.

Next year I'm going with the indoor car show. So much cooler (temp wise) and I can utilize their power supplies to unhook the battery and keep all my lights functioning....inside and out!

Awards will be given out today in about 2 hours.....I hope I get phone call that I won! They said you don't have to be present to win and they don't bump you for someone who might actully be there to accept their award.
