Fix-a-rooed!

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...20LEDs/001.jpg

You can barely make it out...that little patch of white to the right (your right) of the door handle...almost in the middle of the picture. Buff time tomorrow and I should be good. THIS car is my pride and joy and I love it like a wife. (Its starting to cost me as much as one, too!)

OUCH...I know that feeling except for me it was my new 97 Anniversary Supra twin turbo...MINT and someone keyed the hood while I was at lunch.

Hope you get it fixed quickly!

I hear that. I have a tiny one on my drivers side door. Can't get myself to fork out the cash until I at least get more or a big one hehe. Being my DD, its bound to happen even if you park way the **** out in the boonies, some ******* will still park near you. Also, you should see my front bumper after 8k miles of highway driving. Its pock marked like it has chicken-pocks lol. Oh well. I rather drive it everyday then have a beater while the z sits at home. I bought it...to drive it.

:iagree: Yeah, thats right! I've had an offer from a co-worker to buy her 1990 something Honda for $800.....but I just cant bring myself to do it. With my luck I'd buy it and it'll start costing me more to keep it running than the Z! :icon14:

Tony -- you still want to cruise up there with me tomorrow?

Yes, I can do that! Give me a call when you're ready to roll out. ;) Looks like its going to just be me......unless you know of a sexy chick who wants to join in on the fun and ride in the Smurf? :icon17:

m4a1mustang 09-18-2009 10:12 AM

Hahaha, you had your chance with those Mercedes chicks!

I will give you a call tomorrow morning -- I think it'll be best for me to meet you at your house and drive on up from there. I need to send a mass PM reminder to all that I think are coming.

m4a1mustang 09-18-2009 11:29 AM

PM'd you guys some info for tomorrow.

Really hoping we can all get seated in a timely fashion... kind of ticked off that GB have been giving me the run around for weeks about this.

zZSportZz 09-18-2009 02:26 PM

I say we get drunk and destroy the place...then sell one of the gt-r's that are tagging along for bail money.

 Damn! You expecting to really destroy the place.....80K bail at least, huh? :icon17:

tooohip 09-18-2009 03:02 PM

I'll just drop a couple of nearly empty beer glasses on the floor and say "oopsie"

zZSportZz 09-18-2009 03:22 PM

80k/10ish people = 8k each :)

Or am I the only one that will need bail money? hehe

Jon@Altered 09-18-2009 04:57 PM

Got the PM. Not trying to throw a wrench into the mix, but I was just thinking about it, and does meeting at 6:30 seem a bit on the late side? I mean, it gets dark like 7:20 now, so if other ppl arrive late, there may not be a lot of time to socialize, take photos, etc., while we still have daylight. I know Lance is with me on this one, fellow photographer, we like to shoot with sunlight.

Sooooo, I was thinking maybe we could meet up an hour or so earlier, say 5? Give the late ppl plenty of time to arrive for group photos and such, and we could probably beat the evening dinner rush if we get in a bit earlier. :tiphat:

We can do that if everyone agrees. I guess the problem is we aren't even sure if we're going to be able to get together in one group if the parking situation doesn't work out.

Does 5PM work for everyone else?... it's fine with me and Jon has a good point about the dinner rush

zZSportZz 09-18-2009 05:56 PM

I'm game for any time.

tooohip 09-18-2009 06:50 PM

Works for me...

2theextreme 09-18-2009 07:31 PM

I'm good for anytime but thats only because I'll be heading up with Steve.

m4a1mustang 09-18-2009 08:35 PM

OK guys, lets make it 5. All of you that have committed to coming should have my # so if you need me, call me. I'll be there at 5 with Tony.

Only shitty thing is I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get my car cleaned up... have had a hell of a busy week.

If you did not receive a PM from me and are planning on coming, please PM me so you can get my number.

Dont feel bad.....I doubt I'll be doing much with mine.....maybe at least cleaning the front grill and sides. But...you never know....I might go all out and be so shiny ya'll gonna need sunglasses! :icon17:

m4a1mustang 09-18-2009 08:42 PM

Well my **** is dirty as hell so... haha.

zZSportZz 09-19-2009 08:05 AM

Folks,

A really good friend of mine that works for me gave birth to a bouncing baby girl last night. Its pretty much going to be hit or miss for me tonight. I still plan on going, but if something happens and I need to stay around here, don't be alarmed if I don't show up. Just a heads up. There is a still an 90% change I'll be there.

Lone Wolf 75 09-19-2009 08:12 AM

I can't do the earlier time. Unfortunately, I have already committed to an afternoon get together with some friends and family. Getting there at 6:30pm would be pushing it - I guess I'll have to see how it all goes today.

Alright, Rick. Do what you have to do. If you do end up coming up give me a call and I'll let you know where we are.

m4a1mustang 09-19-2009 08:21 AM

I'm running off to get my car washed and get some other stuff done before the meet.

If you guys don't have my phone number, PM me with a request and your number and I will send you a text message since I'll be able to read my pms with my blackberry.

Tony runs little kids over on sidewalks and I'd like to find a nice place to get a decent PANO of all our cars! ;-)

Had a good time, guys. Thanks to everyone for coming out!

Our next meet is just going to be another early morning Z's & Coffee meet on the VA side, then I think we'll look at having another meet like this. It was good fun... should get better when more 370s start popping up.

Ok, not only was driving over the curb stupid and embarrassing enough....I did it right in front of the outside crowd of GB!! I know they were looking and someone was sure to say: "I bet that dumbass is coming here to drink more!" :roflpuke2:

And THEN, I decide to back my car in and scrape my Stillen exhaust pipe. :shakes head: But...I had fun!

No more backing in with the cell phone in one hand....thats for sure! And no, not the best track record, indeed!

It was fun! 3 GT-R drivers, 1 350, and 5 370's. Jon @ Altered took some pics so hopefully he'll post them here. I'm sure there is some video out there somewhere (and no, none of me and the curb.....at least I hope not!). More meets to come, I'm sure.

m4a1mustang 09-20-2009 01:52 PM

What I found funny was that after all the hell they gave me over the phone about reservations they ended up giving us a table in the very party room that they wanted $4000 to reserve!

It was a good time, though. I heard that for whatever reason the GTR guys thought the meet was going to be huge, but it was just our little niche group of area 370s! Still, great food and beer as always at GB... good times.

chris410 09-20-2009 07:51 PM

Were Jimmy and Marc two of the GTR drivers? I think two friends of mine were in that area yesterday.
