Mid-A 2013 Spring Cruize-arama
 

So here's a thread about a Mid A cruize set for Saturday April 20th 2013

I'm thinking of a route in the very northernmost part of Virginia, maybe over to Harpers Ferry and around Frederick.

I'll post a route as we get closer.

Probable meeting location will be the outlet mall in Leesburg at 9:00 AM for departure at 10:00 AM

these tend to be about 3 to 4 hours long with a good stop for lunch somewhere in the middle.

open for discussion and planned attendance.

Details:

Meet in front of the Panera at the Leesburg Outlet Mall.
215 Fort Evans Road Northeast
Leesburg, VA 20176

Meet at 9:00
Depart at 10:00 AM

we will cruize out route 7 to the mountains - time for maybe some rolling shots, then down some great roads to a stop for a photo shoot over the river.
then back up some farm land and again across the river into the mountains and up to Harpers Ferry for lunch.
Northern Peeps could split off from here back into MD, but otherwise we will head back through the hills and into Leesburg from the North.

should be about 3 hours driving plus lunch

I really don't care, I just want to be in the 1st 3 so I dont' get stuck behind people who want to drive more slowly.

Here's a tentative route - some fun roads here and a good stopping point at Harpers Ferry - can do an early lunch here - plus good walking around / shopping - or we can wait for some lunch at that Pie Place some of you might remember...

Finally put this on my calendar. Should be fun!

I remember parking being a challenge there but otherwise had a nice afternoon at Harpers Ferry.

IIRC you can park offsite and take a shuttle into town.
