Anyone doing Carlisle this spring? P&S and/or Import & Kit Nationals?
 

I'm probably going to do both weekends (just Fri-Sat). Anyone else planning on going?

Both events cost $65 to attend if you want to be judged. $50 if you're parking on the field (non-judged) and $20 if you're just going to look at cars and not show.

When: May 11th and 12th
What it is: Caters to the younger (forgive me) "ricer" crowd. You'll see some really nice custom rides. There's an autox and drifting competition although I think they may have taken drifting out after last year. You used to be able to camp out on the fairgrounds on Fri night but that got a little...wild so they nixed it. Fri night is usually a big party. There are some really fun bars in town and there are usually car related events. Last year there were like 12 Audi R8s parked in front of the movie theater. It was cool.
Lodging: We are planning on staying at the luxurious Motel 6 on the outskirts of Carlisle (conveniently located near a WaWa) that sells beer and ice. Cost to stay here here is about $60.00 per-night.

Plan will be to book a string of adjacent motel rooms, head down Friday afternoon and wait for people to arrive. Then we'll all go out to dinner at one of the cool local bars and check out the cars. Saturday morning, we'll head to the fairgrounds and park as a group.

When: May 17th, 18th and 19th (all 3 days)
What it is: This is an older crowd. You'll score more points for having your car clean & bone stock than heavily modded. Similar party crowd on Fri night only there are events at the fairgrounds as well. This year is very likely to have a fairly large Z showing as they have cancelled a competing show (forget which one).

I will be at both.

I'm gonna go down Fri night both weekends and stay at the motel 6 outside of town (since you can't camp out anymore). There are some fun bars/restaurants downtown. Stay saturday and drive home sat afternoon. I'm probably going to do the "non judged showfield".

Keep this thread open so we can all park in the same place.

Dude do the judged show...I made that mistake last year. only 1 370z entered and got 1st.lmao

and yea that's where most stay. Also "Fire" from here on the forum should be brining his ZL1 down that weekend too.

I'd be interested in meeting some of the Z club members and supporting the effort. My ride is stock, but I can bring the cigars, some Crown Black and a great eye for hot chicks? In the past, I've stayed at motels out of town....lots more to do. :) anyone want to roll up as a group?:icon14:

Tell your buddy good luck. The wrx competition is super tough at both events. Look up joy abdalla she wins 1st every year. Probably has like $100k invested

Going to the P&S Show. I won 2nd Place last year, 1st went to a $120,000+ Nissan GTR....Not sure why he would be in my class...Anyways, I roll there every year with the Nico guys, we take over the same hotel every year. We usualy win Best in Club too. Our club runs the Auto-X/Drift track, thats also where we spend most of the weekend besides the hotel block party.....:)

I'm down for this if more people are going. I didn't know when it was last year, so had no chance to prep for it.

I stayed in the motel 6 last year on Fri night and stayed saturday. I'm doing both weekends this year (fri + sat, usually burnt out by sudnay).

It's 2 consecutive weekends in May. Forget which ones.

I was on the website, it looks like you can blow a couple hundred dollars over the course of the 3 days, on hotels, parking, and just to spectate.

The motel 6 is cheap as hell and I hung out and got hammered with a bunch of Swedish nationals there for Saab (lol). I think registration is $65 if you want to be judged. Your expenses will be food, booze and whichever hotel you choose.

I will go down Friday morning for P&S and fri afternoon for I&K and then leave late saturday. Not many people stick around for Sunday.

I usually get pretty burned out by late sat if I'm there Friday too. Since I'm all stock, I was just hoping to help rep the club itself, but I also go to see what else everyone has done. Helps me plan the next mod. :)

No but it wasn't there last year when I looked I don't think. I'd rather do MAZOC since I'll be sporting a MAZOC decal but it's up to you.

Club registration is free. I think it only costs money if you want a tent area or something.

I think we should have a good list of people who will Actually be attending before we start talking club representation and taking up a whole spot though...

No worries. I registered under 370z.com for P&S and ECZA for the I&K Nationals.

How long is registration open for? I'm gonna let some time pass before I give this more serious thought...

Also, do you HAVE to register with some organization, or can I just go as myself?

You don't have to but you get a discount. I paid $85 total for both events.
