Trying to figure out when I can get there while they're open. If they're not open weekends, I'll take a half-day next week to go up. Want to shake the guy's hand anyway.

Will take before/after pics as well.

he said it might be slightly deformed but will be completely transparent again (not crinkled).

I think "free" is a good number.

Seriously that shop just rocks. Worth the mileage/gas 100x over.

Sounds good, let me know how it goes. I'll try to take better pics of my damage once I leave work today.

Blades, I gotta say that paint looks good. Hell if anything, you could just buy a headlight if the opportunity presented itself, and just use the shell, swap everything else out.

Actually all I'd have to do is swap the lenses.

Thats what Im saying.. and dude and in all honesty, I'd be interested in parting out some parts with that headlight, we could go half on a headlight. In essence.

Except you can't just buy a headlight lense. I looked all over creation and the best your going to do is a used complete assembly.

Used or new, it wouldnt matter, Blades said he could find a used one for $350. He needs a new lense, and I could use a couple interior pieces.. i.e. the interior piece that holds the HID bulb into place. Mine broke.

I meant that I would only have to swap out the lens with one from a used headlight assembly.

Not sure if that piece is different for each side of the headlight (i.e. left/right headlight), but the one that I will need to replace is the one on the right (passenger's side). Probably won't be buying one anytime soon, but if I do I'll let you know.

and I could buy/get the piece that I need from that headlight assembly.

Yeah, no problem, definitely not in a rush.
