NEED FINAL HEAD COUNT for E/W's headlight mod event on Saturday

I need to know how much food to bring along with how much beer we're gonna need. At this point, I think the two of us who are definitely intending to mod our cars on Saturday have everthing we need in the way of supplies but more food, booze, or ratchet sets are always welcome.

IF YOU ARE NOT INTENDING TO SHOW UP, please just say so!

Confirmed:
-E/W
-Me
-???

eastwest2300 09-10-2012 01:15 PM

Im in! Of course Im in, Im hosting...:roflpuke2::roflpuke2: If people wanna show up at 0800, im cool with it. We'll need all the time we can get.

eastwest2300 09-10-2012 01:21 PM

Hey DM, we can always send out PMs to the original list and go from there, kinda like an RSVP.

shadoquad 09-10-2012 01:26 PM

I'll be there at 8 but I have to drive to cloverly to pick up the wings at ~9 or so. Better than getting them the night before and attempting to reheat. Owner of a bunch of the BWBs said to just give him a call and he'd have them ready before the store opened for me.

b1adesofcha0s 09-10-2012 01:30 PM

People could start showing up at his house while he's busy sleeping :roflpuke2:

I don't think you realize that he was trolling you :icon17:

I might stop by if I'm free, but don't need to plan any food for me.

Why, whatever do you mean "trolling"? :icon17:

dmhenderson 09-10-2012 02:01 PM

Predicting it's just gonna be E/W and myself - calling it now.

I just finished going through the entire thread, and PM'd everyone that said they'd like to attend with PM read reciepts.

Which was about 5 to 7 people. Hopefully we'll get atleast 3 to 4 cars to come out. I look forward to meeting up with everyone.

It would be very nice for someone that knows how to remove the bumper to show up at 0800 on Saturday, that would really help out BIG time.

falconfixer 09-11-2012 07:16 AM

Dee
like i repsonded but the jet I'm on is in a heavy mod period and we are scrambling to get it ready to fly. 24/7 coverage until that happens :shakes head: FML

Cristobal09 09-11-2012 08:33 AM

damn that sucks D, youve got another thread of 50 pages,

2 people coming......

dmhenderson 09-11-2012 08:49 AM

Well that'll cut down on food cost considerably. Really could use someone who knows how to take the front bumper off though.

Yeah, DM, dude dont go blowing a lot of money on food and alcohol.

b1adesofcha0s 09-11-2012 12:37 PM

If it's just gonna be you 2 there, then maybe I should come by and finish up my wheels while you guys do the headlights. I can help you guys out with the bumper removal, but I won't be there till 10-11. I suggest you guys don't start at 8 and you can wait for me to get there for bumper removal help. Alternatively, you could try it on your own and see how far you get before you need help.

eastwest2300 09-11-2012 01:05 PM

Blades you could do that if you want, thats cool, Khoi said he would come up after work.. so there will be a few of us here.

Sales@AAMComp 09-12-2012 09:12 AM

sorry for not posting for so long guys, was out of town between 9/1 and 9/9 and I come back to my username being "base member" so I didn't want to post and get banned lol

I get off at 2:30 and can swing by right after. under one exception... if my car is fixed.. haha I blew some coupler or line off last night and it sputters under boost really badly now. Should be an easy fix but going under the hood tonight!

dmhenderson 09-12-2012 09:51 AM

http://www.the370z.com/members/dmhen...5142-wings.jpg

Here are your wing choices. I'm probably going to get 6 pounds of wings (should be plenty) and one of those are going to be "Coffin" wings in case any of you are feeling masochistic.

Let me know if you have sauce preferences.

Sales@AAMComp 09-12-2012 10:15 AM

what flavor is coffin? lol

last thing you guys need are oily chicken wing finger prints on the inside of your lenses LOL

eastwest2300 09-12-2012 10:29 AM

Garlic & Rooster yummmmm:tup::tup:

I thought the same thing long before we started picking flavors...:bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

b1adesofcha0s 09-12-2012 10:34 AM

Don't order any for me since I won't be able to eat them (I can only heat halal meat). No beer for me either. Dee, you should have your S2K ready to go in case we need to make a run for supplies or food. There's this awesome kabob place right next to campus that I wouldn't mind getting food from. Pizza would be fine too.

Sales@AAMComp 09-12-2012 10:49 AM

I'll eat whatever but I think pizza might not be as messy lol

b1adesofcha0s 09-12-2012 10:52 AM

I think having some rubber/latex gloves for handling the lenses would probably be a good idea.

eastwest2300 09-12-2012 10:55 AM

yeah i think gloves a definitely a must..

Sales@AAMComp 09-12-2012 11:11 AM

yes, without a doubt, fresh gloves when handling the lens. bear in mind you WILL get glue on your fingertips when prying the headlights apart so try your best not to touch the inside of the lense as well during this procedure. And I say this because you'll have to pretty much grip the edge of the lens, where all the glue is when taking it apart

Pure pain.

dmhenderson 09-12-2012 11:22 AM

Anyone have gloves or know where to get them? Surgical supply stores would have them but I don't know of any of those around here.

Also yeah, not monkeying with the headlights while I eat (at all)
