Ha umm. Yeah I have no clue. I left if upstairs. If someone else took it no biggie. Im sure they will enjoy it. It was an XL anyways. For the record Khoi I am a wearer of "Shmediums" :stirthepot:

If you ok, I'll come by next Wednesday to ck the light with you. Trouble shooting is not fun at all

eastwest2300 09-15-2012 09:21 PM

Hey fellas, thanks for the rep and the kind words! You guys are the sh1t, and I appreciate it. It feels great to be appreciated!

-Everyone loves bonus screws.
-Better Joe Paterno headlights than Jerry Sandusky headlights.
-Coffin wings probably just shouldn't be eaten at all.

-I am really disappointed that no one took a picture of that hilarious "riced out" mustang. We were all tired but in retrospect, it may have been one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen.

So much win :bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

Welcome dude! Im just glad we got everyone resealed before we left. We didnt get home until 9. Were pulling that engine tomorrow at like 8am.lol So tired.

In all honesty I am pretty sure now that we have a system down we can do 3 sets in 6-8 hours though.

dmhenderson 09-15-2012 09:24 PM

Hey I can always swing by next weekend or something, crack open the one headlight I nicked while installing it and work on figuring out yours if you want. Have to pick up the stuff I left behind anyway.

b1adesofcha0s 09-15-2012 09:25 PM

Had a lot of fun today guys! Sorry I wasn't much help with the headlights, the wheels took way longer than I expected. It was still fun hanging out and meeting all of you though. Wheels came out 10x better than they were before and I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Here are some of the pics I have from today. I got EW's and DM's cars, but didn't get yours MKG. I took the pics when you were out giving rides and after you left. We'll just have to wait for Khoi's pics to see them

If you want we can plan out a second day. Since your gonna open yours up, maybe we can do mine's that day too and help EW troubleshoot his.

It's up to you guys. I figured it would make things easier on all of us. You won't have to pull off your bumper or troubleshoot on your own. DM wants to take his apart and fix it anyway, would be a good chance for me to do mine and help you guys out too.

eastwest2300 09-15-2012 09:33 PM

All right, im cool with it.. lets not wait another month though, please..

dmhenderson 09-15-2012 09:34 PM

need to do it soon though because it'll get too cold.

b1adesofcha0s 09-15-2012 09:38 PM

Next Saturday is fine with me.

dmhenderson 09-15-2012 09:38 PM

Yeah hey save that untouched can of black satin please. I think I left it there as well.

dmhenderson 09-15-2012 09:42 PM

So I'm only doing 1 headlight, blade is going to do his and we're going to try to figure out what the hell happened to E/W's headlights.

We *PROBABLY* have room for one more vehicle if someone wants to do this and we do have the procedure itself down to a science at this point.

MyKindaGuise 09-15-2012 09:44 PM

We should do a tinting day! and a Sound proffing/dynamat day. I need tinted windows. I also would like to make some custom stuff to make my *** end less loud inside the car.

dmhenderson 09-15-2012 09:50 PM

Dynamat is something I will probably need in the future.

Don't need any of that but I'd be down to hang out and help.

dmhenderson 09-15-2012 09:54 PM

If my car ends up sounding like Mykindaguise's car when the FI TDX/HFCs go on...yeah that's gonna be kinda loud.

eastwest2300 09-15-2012 09:54 PM

I think sound proofing is REALLY good idea.. everyone will spend about $100 in dynamat.. but the end result, is magnificent.. from eliminating road noise, keeping the inside temperature down, and the reduction of dreaded drone noise for people that have HFCs, test pipes, or headers.

dmhenderson 09-15-2012 09:55 PM

We actually have an active group modding community (at least for now). Wow?

eastwest2300 09-15-2012 09:55 PM

DM, i know exactly what we need to do to your headlight and those little nicks.. we wont even have to shoot the entire area.. its pretty simple.

eastwest2300 09-15-2012 09:55 PM

You'll have to trust me, and let me work my magic.

You'll be glad you had a good sound proofing in your car... I loved it, when I had it in the eclipse.. its amazing man.

dmhenderson 09-15-2012 10:05 PM

I kinda want to get rid of those orange relectors and just leave the silver portion but I'm not sure how to do it.

eastwest2300 09-15-2012 10:09 PM

You could, but something else has to go in its place, there are kits you can buy, or even vinyl wrap you can use to hide it. I've seen it, but im not sure where.

b1adesofcha0s 09-15-2012 10:12 PM

If anything I want to hear my exhaust sound more not less. Screw sound proofing, just making my car unnecessarily slow for me.

My cousin wants to try doing the headlights on his 350Z with us. He says he knows how to take them out of the car so we just have to stick them in the oven and crack them open.

DM you can try asking in the DIY threads how people got rid of the reflector.

eastwest2300 09-15-2012 10:15 PM

The weight of the dynamat is soo minuscule you wouldnt even notice the difference. haha..

b1adesofcha0s 09-15-2012 10:28 PM

But my 1/4 mile time will :p

Sales@AAMComp 09-16-2012 12:42 AM

hey guys! just got back from the bday party

anyways recap of today, starting from 4pm and on
  1. VERY impressed at the fact that all headlights were off and opened by 4pm
  2. EW if you get condensation, I give up on baking headlights. You probably have half a tube of sealnat on your headlights, which probably transfered to your lens when installing. don't worry i got it all off
  3. for those needing smaller size shirts, until next meet. I can probably dig up some Larges, but mediums will be tough. We are designing a new shirt that should be out any day now advertising our triple fuel pump system for the GTR
  4. blades, get with the program, if its a headlight day, do headlights, not take your wheels off at 8pm and spray clear on them hahah JK
  5. Everyones headlights turned out amazing, DM your head lights were my favorite just because I'm a big fan of a completel black out. EW and MKG your guys headlights turned out amazing too
  6. EW try applying some polishing compound to your one headlight, it shoudl remedy some of the scuffs
  7. Pics will be up 1st thing monday morning, the pics accoridng to the camera turned out pretty awesome
  8. Great meeting you guys, hope to do this again for the second round of headlights
  9. For those that want to swing by the shop just give me a holler, i'm there 9-6 everyday and would love to give you guys mini tours
