So I had a hell of a time trying to figure out which rails to get and where to find them. I wanted the bride rails but I could only find them for a z33. I did find some for a z34 but the website seemed sketchy. I also read somewhere that the z33 ones would fit the z34 but I noticed they had different part numbers so I was hesitant. Then I looked at wedge and didn't realize I had to buy the base, the slider, and then the side brackets for my seat. The cost was going to add up quick. Upon further research I found the buddy club super low seat rails. They have the silder, side brackets, and two seperate bases which is nice. I'll receive them on Friday so I'll let you guys know how they are.

As far as a belt/harness, I'm buying harnesses and the robispec bar, but I'm impatient and in the meantime would like to install my seat.

Did not buy one yet. I was thinking the Schroth clubman 6 pt or G-force Pro Series (5 or 6 pt). Any suggestions? Trying to get something on the cheaper end of the spectrum.

This just my

With a harness bar I would only use a Schroth or Takata (same company BTW) 4 point due to their 4 points being the only ones on the market with anti-submarining protection.

Using a 5/6 point without a roll bar is considered dangerous by many people. You could be crushed in a roll over due to the anti-sub strap(s) keeping you in locked in to the seat. With the stock seat belt or a 4 point your body has some where to go in a roll over.

My plans are to wait on harnesses until I have a roll bar.

Car show august 2nd in Hampton I'll have a booth there for my detailing business. Looking for a potential second or third car to be around the booth. Hit me up if anyone is interested. 412-580-388:

Are you set on that location? Would anyone be opposed to something in town center? We could all park on the roof of the garage

Do the harnesses double as a 4 pt and a 5 pt harness? If that's the case I would love to go that route so I don't have to upgrade to a 5pt when I finally get a roll bar/cage.

I don't mind meeting some where else.
I would like to lock down the location soon.

I know Schroth's competition 4 point (SCHROTH RACING PROFI II ASM ) can be converted into a 5/6 point just by adding a sub strap (not sure of Takata). Also the ASM shoulder strap can be replace with a non ASM shoulder strap once you get a roll cage. Also something to consider, Schroth 4 point harnesses are the only DOT approved harnesses. The down side to the Schroth is their harnesses are expensive but IMO harnesses are something you shouldn't skimp on.
