As of now.... Harness Bar (or a roll bar if I can find a good shop that won't make me go broke), Harnesses, install my racing seat finally, brake ducts, switch to a square setup on RPF1's (that means I gotta sell my front wheels and find another pair of 18x10.5"), and eventually but way later on down the line I want a front lip spoiler and a nice rear wing.

Voice59 07-01-2015 02:55 PM

Where's your car being dynod?

I don't see why not. I'm pretty sure they are a full service shop.

Voice59 07-02-2015 09:23 AM

Anybody doing anything at all today?

Onelownismo 07-02-2015 09:42 AM

Yeah, working lol.

Running4Mayor 07-02-2015 12:15 PM

I don't have any plans...

:shakes head:

He told me he wasnt selling them anymore,

I had the money for them weeks back...

But thats atleast thats what he told me
:shakes head:

Darketch 07-03-2015 12:12 AM

If I were in Tims shoes, I know it would be hard for me to part with a part that I bought, hadn't installed, but wanted to someday. Hell, I still have my stock CBE and air boxes. I hate seeing them lay around, but you just don't know what the future holds. I'm retiring in June 2017. If I don't get the job I think I'm gonna get, then I may have to sell my car. Gotta at least hold on to them until then. If I DO get the job I want.....I'll still be parting out lol. I'll be going FI, twins, or something.

I thought about buying a GTR, but it doesn't have a stick. I can't imagine having a sports car without a stick. Yeah, I know autos are faster etc.... (Not trying to start an argument). I think u guys understand where I'm coming from.

Back to the point, I have the cash for for the cats. Yeah, I could just call Tony and buy them, but I'd rather support the folks in our crew.

Darketch 07-03-2015 12:19 AM

Hey in other news, i like to have things organized when I drive my Z (cables, wires, phone, etc...). I usually use 2 phones, 1 for GPS/phone calls, the other for streaming music and my wifi backup cam. As u can understand there is limited real estate on the dash and the cubby. I saw someone on the forums recommend ProClip. I bought it and it's awesome. Holds 1 phone steady and my other is in my cubby. Point is, if u need a cell phone holder, I highly recommend it.

Running4Mayor 07-03-2015 07:46 PM

I was looking around for that phone holder but didn't know who made it. Thanks for the info! I'll be purchasing this ASAP.

I still have all my stuff in my garage also and never selling.

Voice59 07-04-2015 12:37 PM

Happy 4th yall

Mozen 07-05-2015 12:33 AM

You too!

Voice59 07-05-2015 08:57 AM

(PSA) a couple of us might be heading out to Quaker steak and lube out in Newport News. All are welcome to come... It'd be nice to see some new Z's out and about. More details as it becomes concrete.

Voice59 07-05-2015 09:28 AM

1230 at Quaker steak and lube in Newport News. So far it's me and runningformayor (Tim).

bkngo 07-05-2015 10:23 AM

sup guys, sorry I've been super busy lately... plus I've been playing the Witcher 3 and Batman hahaha... i'll stop being a bum and start showing up again. I'm free on July 18th/19th... maybe we can grill out that weekend at my place.

Mozen 07-05-2015 10:44 AM

I'm out sorry, have it on jacks till I get the 02 sensor out. Headed to the store for parts now

Sorry I missed the earlier post. I should be good for that weekend if Yall want to throw some burgers on the grill. I have been on painkillers and have been unable to drive so this will be my first time back out.

And if needed, I'd be willing to open up my house if NgO wants a break. I know he's opened up his home to all of us many times. Not trying to steal his thunder, just showing support.

Darketch 07-05-2015 11:49 AM

@Mozen, I must have missed you coming to HR area. Welcome. Always nice to have active and knowledgable folks like yourself to talk cars with. Look forward to picking ur brain for advice in the future.

Voice59 07-05-2015 12:09 PM

Looks like it's me and the OG Tim, as usual...

Mozen 07-05-2015 12:49 PM

Thanks, I was watching the thread but had not posted a specific hello. My bad lol. Let me know, down to meet up tomorrow or even next weekend's cars and coffee.

If u part out let me know

Darketch 07-06-2015 10:25 PM

Will do, but I'd be looking at a couple of years from now. Right now, im planning to do:

FI RHFCs
Ecutek Tune

15 mm spacers
Swifts
Koni Yellows

Later on, go SC and part out all my NA stuff.

I may go a completely different route and invest in more in my truck.

Yea i feel that, after buying this ML350 a couple weeks ago, all my money will be going to pay this thing off

Paying off a 5 yr autoloan in 1 yr gets u a 700 credit score

:yum:

Anyone have any shop feedback on Volks and Rings off Warwick? Just curious. I have the original stillen headers that hang lower than they should so was looking to have them cut and reweld the flanges to fix the problem. The price they quoted was fair just looking for local input.

it's Virginia Speed. they specialize in domestics like mustang, Camaro, etc... I would not recommend them as far as customer service. the work was good but it was very expensive and the manager is a jerk... long story short... I spent about $900 to modified my FI exhaust and they wouldn't fix a simple problem that would literally take them less than 5 minutes with a few spacers on the cross member... they tried to charge me $125 for labor plus parts. After arguing with the manager that the rattling was caused due to the new angles of the exhausts, Russ from the Superior Auto (owner of the body shop that wanted to go to the exhaust shop and make sure it wasn't his end) said he fix it for me for free.

Hey Adrian,

Thanks... I'm down... just pm us your address, time, and what to bring.

Mozen 07-07-2015 11:09 AM

OK, sounds like I'll avoid them. Have an appt on the 25th with PTuning to get the car dialed in. Need exhaust fixes before that.

Are you getting Ecuteck through them? Their website doesn't have much info on it.
