Cool... I'll take them...

Thanks bro... Dan, the painter will be gone next week. I'm going to wait until the end of the month. I like their craftsmanship...

I need a place to get my Z inspected. Dealer not feeling the headlight modes.

Do you still have the appropriate reflectors and all OEM hardware and lighting? You didn't change out the bulbs or anything. Is it just the halos?

If anything, take it to Merchants right down the road from there toward lynnhaven

Yep, just the halos.
However the dealer know that it isn't stock they won't pass it. :shakes head:
Now the next problem is since it is the beginning of the month every one is backed up.

You'll get it handled.

Oh. And I posted in the VB Meets thread. I know no one here looks at that thread at all so I guess I have to post here for anyone to pay attention. May 16th there is a Corvette/Porsche classic car showcase at Town Center in Virginia Beach form 10am-4pm. Come on out if you can! I'll be chillin' outside Sonoma Wine bar all day drinking some of the good ****. Hit me up!

Running4Mayor 05-06-2015 10:32 AM

Soooo my exhaust is coming in tomorrow. Would anyone mind assisting me with the install?

So, I had a temporary set back. Went to the shop my dad goes to and they failed my Z. Failed due to the ART test pipes and my JDM taillights (not DOT approved). The cats and taillights are no big deal. I still have my cats and oem tail lights. Swap the out tomorrow at my buddies shop.

I also failed due to my front parking lights not working. Looks like ONEighty forgot to put the parking light bulbs back after they were finished working on my headlights. :shakes head:

bkngo 05-06-2015 05:16 PM

I got my exhaust quad tips! Now I finally got all the pieces I need for the install...

Voice59 05-06-2015 05:47 PM

High flow cats are legal. Test pipes are not. You have to have at least some form of catalytic converter (visually). If it looks like you have one, you're good. I'm sure you'd probably fail if they noticed the smell as well.

240se 05-07-2015 12:19 PM

Does anyone local have some 19" autocross/track tires they want to get out of their garage. RE-11s, R-S3s, etc for sport Rays wheels. I would prefer 275/35/19s but my budget is tight so I will consider any good track tires.

Yeah I'm hoping the resonated test pipes will pass inspection. It kind of looks like a catalytic converter. :icon14:

How are you ending up with just one? I have 245/40/19 PSS on the front now and I wish I had gone to 275/35/19. The PSS are OK, sidewalks seem to roll when pushed really hard or it may just be the stock front camber.

Fine. As the supreme leader, I will create a mass text template of all you bitches and text you when impromptu **** comes up. If I don't have your number send it to me via pm and please for the love of all things sacred tell me what your real name is.

Also, to go along with the above this will be an OPT-IN service. You must tell me you want to be on the distro or you won't receive anything. PM me. I'm not reading through pages of responses to get a tally.

Thanks.

I'm getting my other tire swapped on Tuesday. First one had wound up with a screw in it so that one is done for. The other one wound up being too far off on tread wear and they failed to tell me that and now I'm having stability issues and it needs replaced too. So I'll only have one. ;)

bkngo 05-08-2015 12:10 AM

Thanks for taking the lead John. I'm going to be busy for the next three weekends... Volunteer work, help a friend move, and duty. Plus my car going to be in the shop for at least a week at the end of month.

Kazzan11236 05-08-2015 03:17 PM

Yea im right by lynhaven mall, we def need a better system

Tim's present to his car. Almost there.

The results are always awesome. F.I. Makes some fine exhausts for sure.

Tigger 05-09-2015 12:01 PM

Ok. So Tim and I were thinking of trying to get everyone together tomorrow. Open to suggestions on what to do. Coffee...definitely. Maybe 1 or 2pm? Something like that. Just tossing it out there. Leave suggestions or comments and we can turn this into something. And if you are going to comment, please attend. None of us like bending over backwards to accommodate people that don't show in the end. Been through that already. Thanks a bunch!
