In other news, does anyone know how to deal with shitty room mates? Background: I chose the house that I did because It had a garage, and I wanted to garage my car. I offered to pay more to have that spot but the room mates didn't seem to care. So we all split the rent evenly. Apparently my car is too loud when I come and go and it wakes up my room mate who sleeps above the garage when I come home late at night (he never goes out and goes to bed at like 9pm). So we came to an agreement that if it was too late at night, I would just leave my car outside. Pretty shitty but I can compromise a little bit to keep peace.

Well I guess yesterday morning when I left the house at 6:30am, the sound of me opening the garage, rolling my car halfway out, then starting it was too much. So when I get back, they have both their cars in there to prevent me from using the garage. To add to that they put "troll" faces on the windshields on the car kind of like a "**** you" to me. Pretty mature huh?

Haven't said **** yet, well I haven't seen them at all. Want to say something in person not over a text or some ****. Advice? Aside from hooking up to the miata and dragging it out of the garage with the Z? :mad:

Aren't your roommates brothers? That might be the problem, because it will always be you against them. But if this is a continuous problem then you might want to think about moving out.

Yes they are. I got home, confronted them, and it just turned into a huge yelling match. I was so close to knocking the bigger one the **** out. I held back however.

I'm moving out. It's already been decided. They are immature little pricks, this ******** happens all the time, and I can't put up with them. I've never had room mates that I've gotten along with, so I'm starting to think maybe it's me that's the problem. Therefore I'm getting my own place, regardless of money.

Unfortunately it's going to make money tight for me. Car may get put on hold for mods and going to races. That's just part of life though. Live and learn.

Sorry to vent. I needed to let it out.

Maybe your just bad at picking roommates but either way I know there's town homes down the road that have garages. But I don't know how much they are. And I know you said you don't like va beach.

Might just stay near harbor view. Or chesapeake (greenbrier or something)

There's apartments near greenbrier that have garages for rent.

I want the cheapest possible place that's not in the middle of the ghetto and can provide me a garage. I think I've come to accept the fact that I'll be paying $1000+ however.

I fly back to Virginia Saturday, so I'll be catching up with my family. Work Monday, but off the rest of the week. If you're ready to move.
