Kai, hit me up if you're coming over... I'm hoping I can finish by 1 or 2pm if we start promptly at 8... promise the kids I'll take them swimming tomorrow.

sorry, bros... had to go grocery shopping and clean up...

Well, they had to prime the car again this morning due to a few spots, they started painting today, and they will install the body kit (mesh and license plate bracket) tomorrow. The shop is close on Monday so it is looking like Tuesday afternoon.

I think I will purchase the EVO-R NISMO high wing with the carbon fiber accent later this year (father's day or birthday present, lol).

Should I powder coat my stock 19s satin black? I'm waiting until next year to purchase the Works Emotion CR2P wheels and bigger tires.

Voice59 05-23-2015 12:05 AM

I'll see if I can swing that way. I have muster at 8 so I'll get there later

There are lots of guys who bitch about powder coating stockies, but I think they would look great like that. Im considering powder coating mine a bronze ish color when I return.

If someone bitches about you powder coating your wheels regardless of whether they are OE or not, they need to just **** off. It's your choice. They are probably hypocrites too. I bet they wouldn't say that about higher-end cars.

Darketch 05-23-2015 07:31 AM

Wait. I sold a 2009 and got a 2014 to get dark wheels. U mean I could have powder coated them?

Darketch 05-23-2015 07:36 AM

Don't know if I'm the only Non-Nav in our group, but I want to do a tablet install in the cubby. Anyone already have a better idea then what's here?

I would like a cubby drop in touch monitor that connects to iPhone.

I made a very rough mock up of a drop in before I left with velcro, I removed the back to the cubby door and put the felt on it so I could have a OEM look if I wanted, and put velcro on the back of my tablet. It fit perfectly in the cutout (nexus 7), and the door stuck just fine. I was planning on making a more permanent (see: pretty) mod to it to easily swap back and forth, but ran out of time before leaving.
