Sorry boss I didn't check the forum again after my last post.

On a brighter side is anyone considering going to ZdayZ?

Probably not. Always meant to. If I have the STI I may still consider it but my work-related travel is getting in the way of everything.

I MAY hit c&c this weekend though. Anyone else?

Onelownismo 01-12-2015 12:47 PM

So I may go to the dragon in April with an S2k crew. If anyone is interested you should let me know so we could caravan down. Zdayz would be awesome too though. If enough of ya'll are going I'd consider that.

Nice STI huh? Going manual? I should be available. But I'll know for Fri morning. My 'ol lady dictates my schedule :shakes head:

Around what time in April? If I was to tag along it'll only be for one of the two.

lol! Awesome.

And yes, manual. Subaru makes a beautiful clutch. Can't even tell I'm driving a manual and it isn't jerky at all. Love it. Side note... If the Z didn't have such a **** clutch/gearbox I'd have purchased the sport/touring/nav package I test drove three years ago. But I digress..

The STI drivetrain is what I'm after. AWD with a controllable torque vectoring center-diff. Ummm... yes please. If I can get myself over that I'll get the non-STI Limited. Very nice with better mileage. I kinda want the BBK/wheels/power from the start since I don't want to mod. See what happened with my Z? Yup. I refuse to mod now. Just want to buy something ready to go and enjoy the **** out of it.

Oh... ok.. so Saturday...

7:30am is the departure time from Target off Mercury Blvd in Hampton. Head to Williamsburg C&C. Wrap up around 10ish and, whoever wishes to, head to brunch with the crew. After brunch I'll be heading to the Virginia Beach Wine Fest at the convention center so if anyone is interested in that I recommend buying your tickets in advance.

Hope to see some of you Saturday morning!

I want to go but really you have to plan in advance due to the lack of lodging. I have been there 3 times and people do reservation before they leave the year prior.

By now the only way is calling Fontana and getting on the wait list, a lot of people will cancel 1 or 2 mths prior. Unless you stay like 20 to 25 minutes away....

Damn if it's like that I can't make it. With two small kids it's kinda hard to plan that far out.

Yes those cars are built to last most definitely. If you think the Z has a shitty gear box try driving a base :icon14:. But I know what you mean I could've start modding a long time ago but something is just holding me back. I mean I want to but then again I don't. I probably have a year tops in my Z until I decide to get something more conventional to haul the kiddos around instead of having to drive a damn Altima more than the Z.

Altimas drive for ****. Can't stand those cars. Had one for a rental. Wanted to drive it off a bridge. I would happily take a Chevy Cruze over an Altima any day.

Update -

Darketch and I are meeting at my place at 6:45 Saturday morning to hit the meet up spot at 7:30 and then on to WB. Should be a big turnout again. A bunch of the old Acura crew will be meeting up in the morning so it'll be a good cruise up. If you can make the local meet time of 6:45 and wish to cruise with us on the first leg contact me and I'll send a pm with the info.

Post meet brunch is also going to happen. Upon return my friend and I will be going to the Wine Fest at the VBCC. Anyone wishing to go should get their tickets now.
