No offense intended but are you from North Jersey by any chance? There's a huge pirelli following up there (Lived in Wayne/Oak Ridge for a while).

that is your personal preference.. but saying that they are far better than anything pirelli has to offer is a far stretch.. the is a reason why the top supercars made run pirelli. im not some tires guru so i cant get into a pissing match with you about compounds tire wear etc... i gave a opnion based off of personal experiance i have always had great luck with pirelli. every tire company makes a entry level tire and im guessing that mabe some people on here got some basic pirellis or something and werent happy with them.. and that is fine.. i wasnt waving a pirelli flag or saying that everyone needs to run them. i just gave a opnion different than everyone else..

Most of the guys who have mid-high range sportscars up there run Pirellis. Only reason I was asking.

The only comparable tire Pirelli makes is the PZero (which I have run) and the Super Sport out performs it in every category. Dry grip, wet grip, road noise longevity, feedback, etc. That's why I said what I said...

Tire Rack reviews seem to agree with this statement. Probably should add that Pirelli makes _the best_ F1 tire out there and most of those cars do run pirelli but that's a whole different animal.

again im not trying to argue with you, i dont have vast tire knowlege. i just offered a different opnion.. with a quick google search i pulled up a comparison, and from what i saw on the graphs the tires were very close so close that on our cars and what we use them for you would never be able to tell the difference.. now maybe if u r useing them on track all day every day and looking for every bit of performance u can get.. then maybe you could tell the difference.. but saying that they are vastly better, and pirelli is not good is just a untrue statement..

forgive me for giving a difference in opnion, wouldnt want anyone on here to run something different than everyone else.. maybe im just different but i like to use what i like and not what people tell me i should use...

and again i didnt say pss were junk.. i said they r good, i just offered my opnion on a tire that i like and have great luck with.. i never said anythign bad about the pss.. and maybe in ur opnion pirelli is bad or not worth it.. and thats fine.. but that is your opnion.. i on the other hand love pirelli and whenever i need new tires that is the brand i go with..

exactly the make the best f1 tire.. the form of racing that all others are compaired to... if the can make a superior tire in that level of play saying that they r not worth it or something is vastly better is a unfair statement.. like i said i like the pss and they r good tires, and never said pirelli is vastly better.. just gave a different opnion from what everyone else runs.. when comparing top tires there is not one that is just better than all tires.. they are all very close in that catagory and it comes dow to PERSONAL PREFERENCE, and also what ur useing the tire for...
