Hey everyone, here the latest update for 2nd Annual PTUNING S2000 Event for March 3rd had been cancelled due to weather of rain. I apologize for the inconvenience. I will re announce the new date for the next event. It is possible we put the date to
March 10th but I will confirm the date of the event on this thread. Again, I apologize.

Doug

It happens... rain can be a drag sometimes.

I just got my first service at the new Nissan of Bowie. They were awesome, all brand new facility.

They charged me 161.92 to mount, balance and align my new tires. Didnt think it was a bad deal at all.

Anyhow, do any of you have the motodyne intake manifold? If so is it easy to install? Im thinking about just doing it myself instead of paying someone to do it for me, then getting the car tuned.

That's a great deal for M&B + alignment.

Motordyne install should be pretty easy. Just don't drop anything... :icon17:

Jon (ZCarMan) has the M370 manifold on his. I think he had AAM do the install though...

That should be really easy. I had my manifold off during my TT install and it was a piece of cake. I suggest blowing some compressed air around the area before you unbolt the manifold and remove it.

Word sounds good. I might just have hills do it before he does the tune. Should only take an hour tops anyhow, that way i know itll be done right.

If you guys get a minute def check out Nissan of Bowie, i spoke to the owner of the place directly, and it seems like they are there to take care of the customer. The actual owner of the dealership is there daily. I talked to him for a little bit, seemed pretty nice.

Also, i got the continental DWS Extreme contact all seasons. Its raining today, didnt really get to mess with them. Ill let you know how they are once I've broke them in a little.

They are really good in the rain and snow, I have them on my Z.

I'll be with Bobo this Saturday getting my HFCs finally installed.

It is unbelievably easy to do. I can even send you the directions and torque specs for the bolts if you like. There are only like 6 bolts and 2 nuts holding it down, and the vacuum lines are really easy to trace. Easy way to save on +/- 1 hour of labor!

Didn't you just have another off roading incident?

Speaking of tires, Steve when are you switching over to your summer shoes? This weather is killing me, I know if I switch out the winter shoes now its going to snow...

It's killing me too, man. I think I will hang on for another week or two. Usually mid-March is when the historical average lows stabilize in the 40s and the highs in the 60s.

My tires were straight bald, so these are going to feel like an upgrade either way =]

Wow, that's a great deal. I had no idea they were open already. May have to give these guys a shot instead of driving down to Herb Gordon Nissan all the way in Silver Spring. Not that they are bad, they have always been good to me but Bowie is closer than Silver Spring.

Nope its about a house fire, that is being treated as an act of arson.
